Blacksummers' night is worth the purchase. I purchased it at the Essence, in New Orleans where he autographed cds. As well as to see him perform that night. Maxwell puts on an outstanding show, and I love the way he is into his music and his band on stage. Not just one song is good on the cd is good, but all nine tracks. I have all of Maxwell cds, and it is hard to find or shall I say very few artist put out a cd that most of the tracks are good. It maybe that I am a Maxwell fan!! My girl friend stated it will have to grow on her. I was even late for work to watch him on GMA!!!!! It is great to have Maxwell back in the music scene again. You can tell in his performances that he is glad to be back doing what he is great/good at. Look forward to the upcoming two additional cds. Great work Maxwell!

I am so glad that my boy Maxwell is back on the scene. His new cd is off the hook. Starting with his amazing voice, which is so soothing to my ears. Also his song beats are hot. His songs has so much meaning to them that they just capture you. My favorite song is "Pretty Wings" amongst some others like bad habit, fistful of tears, and stop the world.I listen to this cd so much like every day since it came out......... I am definitely waiting to hear the other cds that are coming out. Love You Maxwell and keep up the good work.

Being from New York I love and appreciate Maxwells music and with this CD he did not disappoint. The arrangement of the music his great so original and beautiful, his voice is just as great as 10 years ago, great CD!!!

Maxwell is a great artist. I am so glad he is back. This CD is so awesome. I love being able to enjoy most or all of the CD. You will get your money's worth with this album.

I love the music on it because it relaxs you. It is good music that makes you drift away to a better place. I would love to see these songs done live.

Great Cd , it's not common to like every song on a cd you buy.

I bought the Maxwell CD on the release date, and i cant stop playing it. This CD is great and a must buy for all you Maxwell fans.

Many of his fans have waited a long time for his return and he doesn't disappoint.

The CD is good overall but after listening to it once I haven't had the urge to listen to the rest of the CD after Pretty Wings.
