Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Sonic Scrubber for its ease of use, long battery life, and ability to reach hard-to-reach areas. They appreciate that it is easy to clean and makes a great gift. However, some customers find the bristles to be ineffective and the vibration to be weak. Additionally, a few customers have mentioned that the scrubber does not hold soap well and that it is overpriced.

Best idea for shower and bath. First charge lasted several times now without recharging. Haven’t washed my back in ages now because of the itch after doing so, with this unit I no longer have the itch and my back feels great!

This is my 2nd Blackwolf. I loved the first on so much, I decided to buy one for my vacation home. Because I was traveling and didn't want to miss its arrival I ordered it through Best Buy this time instead of directly from Blackwolf. It just seems different then my other one. Just in the bristles itself. Still love it, but I love the first one better.

When i picked up this item in store the box was a bit banged up so when i got to the car i inspected it to make sure it wasnt tampered with. At first inspection i have to say im not totally sold on this device. (After i use it in the shower if my opinions change i will update my review accordingly.) the bristles are a bit stiff, thick and also rounded at the tip so i dont foresee them being able to do much mechanical exfoliation. Second, the vibrating function (of which there are numerous different settings/intensities) seems to vibrate my hand more than the bristles when running it over my skin which is not ideal. How the device functions when used with the handle remains to be seen. I first saw this device a few months ago and i was intrigued as i have a sonic face brush (with normal non-silicone bristles) which i enjoy very much as i like the feeling of being scrubbed. Im aware this is not something silicone bristles can achieve but i liked the telescoping handle for hard to reach areas and my face brush is small and is only for 1 pair of cheeks. I also liked the idea of the vibration providing another element of mechanical exfoliation, though gentle. I decided to purchase this in the end as it was on sale for $20 for a limited time in the app and if it doesnt completely revolutionize my shower im not out too much money.

Overall, this is a good product. It’s more sanitary than a loofah, and has a nice reach. I don’t love the placement of the handle release button(it’s caused me to drop it on my foot a few times) and the scrubbies could be longer, but overall a great product.

Shipping and purchase were fairly quick, Product itself leaves a lot to be desired, There is little to nothing sonic about the thing, It vibrates at 2 basic speeds, and the bristles are very soft and comfortable but they do not exfoliate. You would get the same if not better cleaning from a cellphone set on vibrate wrapped in a washcloth. This is a nice gimmick or novelty device but not worth the money and does not live up to any of the hype.

It's a great idea for all intended purposes but it has one flaw. Since the scrubber is made of silicone, it does not hold or create soap suds or foam to lather your entire body. I found myself having to use more liquid soap because of that. I recommend using a soap bar to run over your body and then follow thru with the scrubber. With that being said, I only used this for my hair and face. I apply the shampoo or conditioner and then run the scrubber over my hair and find it to yield amazing results. It gets deep in the scalp and moisturizes thoroughly. Since it doesn't trap any bacteria as much as loofah would, I rinse it, apply facial wash and then run the scrubber on low over my face. My skin has gotten noticeably softer and so has my beard.

The vibration is nice, but this thing ruins the lather. It's almost like it absorbs whatever soap or body wash you use and then it's just gone. The bristles are a little too soft also, so I really don't feel like I'm clean if I use this exclusively. Save your money and get a 2 dollar loofah.

I bought this to reach my back and feet. Once I figured it out, button is small and blends in to back, it works well. I do wish bristles were a bit bigger, but it does the job. It is very easy to keep clean and I do put body wash on the bristles instead of just soap.

This is an amazing shower tool! Love using it on my scalp in the morning, and does well on my body too. Wasn’t sure about the silicone bristles but works like a charm. I have yet to use anything but the high setting. I do like that you can remove from the handle and use separately. Frankly I use the handle just for hanging. Rarely use it on the handle. Have had it a month or so and have had to charge it one time. But I frankly feel I had plenty left in the battery for another week or so. I think it is one of the best purchases from Best Buy ever. Well, maybe the PS 5 is better….or the Samsung TV? Well, it’s in the top 10!

Works wonderful on your face, makes skin feel smooth. Vibration makes poors cleanse better. Hard to make same distinction when cleaning arms, back, and legs. I like the feeling from the vibration that I even use it while I shampoo my hair.

Honestly pretty useless. I don't really understand any clear cut way to get the brushhead soapy. And it should have real bristles instead of rubber. It doesn't feel great/abrasive against your skin which was kind of why I wanted this -- to be abrasive on my back, where I can't reach. Additionally, when you are handling the unit at the top of the handle, I found it extremely difficult *not* to disconnect the head from the handle, sending the handle plumeting towards the shower floor. Despite this happening to me several times and it still being a learning curve to use the product, it didn't break any times I've dropped it, so I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1.

This product seems to be working fine. It arrived quickly and was easy to figure out how to use. It was purchased to help my son who suffers from body acne. The handle is long enough for him to reach his entire back. Not sure how exfoliating it is, though it appears to be helping keep his skin clear.

High quality and solid product. Holds a charge well and doesn't need to be recharged very often. I'd rather not have a removable handle or the release button could be designed better (easy to eject handle by mistake) Power button is also the low/high mode button. A bigger power button with a single high mode would be better. A no-handle version with a hole or a rope to hang it up would be cool. Silicone bristles are durable. Regardless, it's an awesome device as-is. Comes with it's own specific charging cord and is USB-C shape/size.

I like that the brush can be used for the back using the detachable handle or used as a body scrubber. Just wish the bristles were thinner. But still nice scrubber.

Glad I bought this during a half of sale. The bristles are too soft and long. When you put body wash on the scrubber is completely incapable of getting a lather going, I had very slightly better luck with bar soap (the soap stuck to the bristles better than a body wash). Complete waste of money

For a Vibrating Scrubber with Soft rubber bristles, I find this easy to use. Weird to use in beginning, the Lather it builds off the soap I use is Great.

Did not perform as expected. I waited a few weeks to use it consistently to give me honest review. The brittles are delicate and I expected them to be more abrasive to handle my skin. The vibration is a nice addition but doesn’t add to the overall experience. It doesn’t hold the soap well. By time I finish with my back, the majority of the product make its way out of the sponge brittle and collect along the side of the device. It doesn’t feel as if I’m getting an exfoliating experience, more so a sponge wash.
