This movie brings everything I ever wanted in an action movie, a black hero and vampires. Wesley Snipes plays the lead role and does a great job. Like most movies, the hero is only as good as the villian and Stephen Dorff is just brilliant as the villian Deacon Frost.

I don't really read comics, so I can't say how faithful this movie was to the source material, but as someone who enjoys movies, I can say that where comic book movies are concerned, just as pure entertainment regardless of the original material, Blade is better than a lot of other ones that the studios release.

This is probably my favorite vampire movie. It has good action scenes and a decent story. If you like vampire movies this is a must own.

Blade is one of Wesley Snipes best movie's ever. Blade will get you hook even if you just watch a few minutes. lot of action

Blade is a great vampire movie.It is smart & if you never read the comic you are not out of the loop it explians it without annoying the comic book fans that know the history.

Glad Wesley Snipes filmed this movie before he got in toruble for not paying taxes. This is a very good vampire/vampire hunting movie. Lots of action and a great story.
