While I had options when buying Blade on 4K disc I chose this gorgeous looking Best Buy steelbook when adding Blade for the first time ever to my 4K home media collection. The movie still mostly holds up. The surround audio track is fantastic. You just know what you’re getting here with this purchase!

What can you say Blade is Blade. This is Wesley Snipes at his best. This part was handmade for him. Could you or would you imagine anyone else playing this part. Snipes and Kristopherson are playing each like like violins. Excellent cinematography, top-notch acting, and a plethora of action. 6 thumbs up.

Great quality, beautiful looking steel book, what more can I say. Blade is a must see for fans of comic books and of vampire stories. Action packed, over the top one liners, Wesley Snipes, Donal Logue being hilarious. This film still holds up, do yourself a favor and check out the 4K edition!

BLADE (1998) on 4K UHD SteelBook. The only thing better than this would have been if Best Buy had released a boxed set with each BLADE film in the series included, not just the first.

Better late than never! Steelbook is solid, movie still holds up well considering it came out before the comicbook character uproar. Ice skates uphill and succeeds. Straightforward artwork, but looks good overall.

The remastered film for 4K was phenomenal. I originally watched this on our Dolby digital THX receiver and on DVD when it came out. Also saw it at the theater. The 4K version was closer to the theatrical release. The sound through dolby atmos was even better.

Blade was that movie that you were hoping was good in order to breathe life into the comics you read as a kid and it didn’t disappoint. Wesley Snipes was made for the role as the Daywalker. Even though 3 movies were made in this trilogy, this first one was the best.

The original Blade is a seminal film and one of the earliest examples of a more serious comic book venture. This long-awaited 4K version is quite simply the best this movie has ever looked and the steel case - a BB exclusive - is a fantastic bonus for collectors.

This is a great story and a great film populated by great actors. The 4k picture doesn't help some of the effects that haven't aged well but it does deliver everywhere else. If you don't own this title in your Marvel collection then get it.

Wesley is da man as "Blade". When this went to 4K I'm certain this was a big seller. The movie is entertaining enough to rewatch and I wouldn't be surprised if younger folks born after this movie was filmed would take a liking to it.

This movie still holds up pretty well after all this time. No, it is not in the top 100 movies of all time or even in the top 100 action movies of all time. Maybe in the top 100 movies made from comic books of all time. But I am not sure if there is a 100 of those or not. This is Wesley Snipes near his acting peak, before he would do any garbage for a buck to pay the IRS. Good action, good story and definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it. He is part vampires fighting vampires with the old and gnarled up Kris Kristofferson to help.

An absolutely amazing film that basically kicked off the superhero film genre as we know it! The blood and violence was handled so well. The future of the genre will once again be on the line with the new reboot coming out.

Nice high gloss surface on this one, a real fingerprint magnet. I think the reds could have been a bit more red, but the black still gives it a nice color contrast. Similar action post on the back from Blade.

I really like most vampire movies, but have especially enjoyed watching this one over and over since it's release. The sequels are OK, but none match the quality of the original. Really glad they decided to release a 4K version. The colors really pop and the audio is terrific. Happy to pay extra for the Steel Book, which has some great art work.

Movie looks outstanding, but Best Buy needs to step up their shipping and packing standards on steelbook items. I will always use store pick up from now on as I have learned my lesson. This is a collectors item and it should at least be wrapped and secure. Laziness.

So so so happy to this classic get its due as a remaster in 4K UHD. Blade being one of the first Marvel characters brought to screen in proper fashion. Steelbook was a great collectible purchase

The original Marvel Superhero. Blade was the first (technically innacurate). This movie shows that Rated R superhero movies work. Great audio mix and picture. And who doesnt love steelbooks

One of the first marvel movies that hit theaters and it become the most anticipated blockbuster greatest hit movie ever based on a cartoon character! Recommend for steelbook owners!

One of the greatest vampire movies. The atmos and picture quality is an excellent upgrade over the Blu ray! The steel book has nice gloss and artwork as well!!
