    Nice visuals and heavy on violence, but enjoyable. Some parts could be cut to make it shorter

    I enjoy Japanese made samurai movies. The sword battles choreography were well done. Movie was extremely bloody and violent. The only knockdown is the far-fetch battles where the main character Manji take on against all odd number of combatants.

    Steelbook looks really nice but I found the movie to be a bit on the long side. It has some great sword scenes but it slows down so much at times you will want to nod off. It is not Takashi Miike worst movie.
