This is an excellent movie good acting good writing good directing and all-around enjoyable watch this is when filmmakers get it right they don't do it often but they definitely did it this time

Had wanted this movie ever since I’d seen the trailer & was surprised to see it being sold at Best Buy. Definitely worth having if you’re into movies that consists of lots of sword fighting, gore, drama, & comedy!

Excellent film, if you are a fan of Takashi Miike's previous work, I would rate this just a notch below 13 Assassins. The action is well done and the pacing of the film is good. I just wish they would've released this film in a 4K HDR UHD presentation instead of standard blu-ray.

Legendary director tackles the story of a samurai cursed with immortality. Good movie loaded with action and quirky characters only Takashi Miike can deliver. Special steelbook edition adds to the uniqueness of the movie. Not his best work but a worthy addition to his resume.

the movie is great lots of sword fighting had some trouble getting the steelbook tho. wouldnt let me store pickup only ship then day of release didnt ship at all and was only for store pick up.

Look, I was excited about this release because of the anime, but it just didn't have that same POW BAM factor as the anime, like some of my other Ronin anime. And it was not as good as the other film 13 Assassins. I think the same director did this one too.

Takashi Miike is a machine, and this 21\2 hr manga adaptation proves. Aside from being Miikes 100th film, it's just a non stop gauntlet for anti hero Manji. Miike fans will get their dose of craziness and weirdness. Highly recommended!

If you’re going to direct 100 Films, you might was well have it be This amazing movie. Seriously, see this film. And then go watch 13 Assassins.

If you are into Anime, you'll love this. Otherwise you may want to skip it. For me I totally enjoyed it.

I am a huge Takashi Miike fan so of course I was going to get his 100th film. Lots of fun, good action scenes and well worth a watch.

So this is the classic slash and dash of old chop-sake flix in the 80's-70's. Blood all over. But great story and action scenes

I was an 80s baby who grew up on ninja movies more than samurai ones. This felt like a good throwback and was beautifully shot.

Almost as good as 13 assassins. has a little more supernatural feel to it then 13. Fantastic steelbook and a really good price

If you are a big fan of these type movies, it is good. Looks like there might be another part, left the door open for one.
