So, I actually already have many copies of Blade Runner and have had many many copies going right back to its first release on VHS tape. Yes, I am a Blade Runner Uber Fan! :) That vhs tape is long gone as I wore it out by playing it on a loop day and night for several years. I looked at it as a form of installation art back then. Still do really but I don't have it playing on a loop now. 20 years ago I predicted that someday this film would look dated and I'm not certain we're there yet.... So, regarding this release... I hate the directors cut because the film I fell in love with was the original theatrical cut. Yes, I love the voice over and no I don't need the footage of the real unicorn... I think that's cutting the VO and adding that footage was ridiculous! Arrogant in my mind to have the director telling me that his version is better the the one I fell in love with.... Ok, I do respect a directors vision but often I find that their cuts are self indulgent and lame. They alway add stuff that is not needed to propel the story. In film , less is usually more! That being said, I bought this collection for the included rough cut! Brilliant! As a director myself I live to see how the film beloved! I am delighted with this collection and maybe I'll give the directors cut another look! It's probably very good!! :)

Blade Runner on Blu-ray is fantastic. With the Final Cut, and the earlier versions of this Sci-Fi classic, all in gorgeous Blue-ray picture and sound, Blade Runner is the perfect movie, and is the very best film adaptation ever done of a Philip K. Dick book. The extras disc has some great interviews and much that will fascinate the Blade Runner lover or anyone interested in how a great film is made... And the enclosed booklet of images and production art makes for a wonderful package, makes this all a super bargain and thus a 'must own' purchase for all Blade Runner fans... and anyone that loves a great Science Fiction classic movie. Though the Final Cut DVD did look good on my Blu-ray player, I am very, very happy to now have this Blu-ray 30th Anniversary Collector's set! I am truly in Blade Runner 'heaven' now... A big Thank-You! to Ridley Scott and the team that put the Final Cut together...

Blade Runner is an excellent sci-fi film and this edition is the last you will ever need....because it contains all 5 versions. Did I mention it only cost $12.00 at Best Buy? As soon as I saw this on the store shelf at that price, I grabbed it up. The blu-ray quality begins as excellent and just keeps getting better with each newer version (with the exception of the workprint). The book/case is topnotch as well. Any fan of this film needs to have this. Finding it at this price is just icing on the cake. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I couldn’t believe I got this classic book plus all of the cuts of Blade Runner for only $9. While I do like the final cut as the best version it’s also good to have the other cuts including the original theatrical release with the forced narration. I also enjoyed the collectors booklet that accompanied all of the discs. Definitely a great buy and a tremendous value.

Just watched the Final Cut, and transfer and sound was terrific. I hadn't seen any cut of this in decades, and am not a student of the various versions. Probably will not screen any of the others, frankly, with so much else out there to watch, but it's nice to have 'em, just in case, for the price of it. The Final Cut was wonderful, however. Just a heads-up: the disc defaults to Dolby Digital, so you have to dig a little to get to the TrueHD lossless track.

This movie still looks great and this edition has an amazing aray of special features. There are THREE versions of the movie so you will have the cut of the film that you like best. Surprises me that the movie looks as good as anything coming out now.

Together, the materials enclosed offer the quintessential package for both die hard film fans and the casual viewer in understanding this cult classic!

I love having all the versions (5) of the film in one place. If you want to watch with/without Deckard voiceovers, with/without the unicorn sequence, or with some extra violence, you can. And debate all night long whether Deckard is a replicant! Packaging is slick, with a bunch of movie still images as well. Buy this now, as it is usually like $10-12 at Best Buy. Do yourself a favor.

I am a big sci-fi fan and this is one of the best science fiction films out there. It was pretty much ahead of it's time when it was made and I'm not sure it was completely appreciated at the time. This set has four versions (of the 7 that were done) of the film on it and a hole disc of extras. If you enjoy this movie it's definitely worth getting.

This was one of my favorite sci-fi movies growing up. This is the best version to buy as you get the original 1982 theatrical cut, the 1982 international version, the directors cut, the final cut as well as the rarely seen work print version which was interesting. Also includes a great documentary on the making of this sci-fi culture classic

I wanted to get a refresher course on Blade Runner before the sequel came out this Fall. With all the different cuts of the movie, I wasn't sure what the best way to go was. Why not all of them? Best Buy had this amazing collection for next to no money. I can't recommend this collection enough, especially for the price.

The future of humans and their androids. Robots that look , feel , and now think like humans. Our obsession may devour us. This classic film never gets old. It's my 4th version. Beautiful restoration . Harrison Ford , Rutgers Hauer , a young/ beautiful Sean Young and Edward James Olmos . Ridley Scott directing. 10+

One of my favorite sci-fi flicks of all time. Why not have all 4 versions? There's something timeless about this film even though it takes place in 2019! Just two years to go! lol One of the best melding of a music score with film - can't imagine this without the Vangelis score.

No matter which cut you prefer (Final Cut), this collection is likely to have it. The quality on each of the discs, along with the extra features and the snazzy origami unicorn case, make this a no brainer if you're a fan of the film (or a version of it)

The Blade Runner 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition DigiBook contains all five cuts of the film that were in the earlier and much more expensive 5 disc sets. The workprint cut of the film has a new DTS-HD for the release. I highly recommend this release!

All variations included. I enjoy film noir so the voice over was a throw back to a genre that is quite enjoyable. If you like this movie and want to read some great stuff, look up Asimov's, I-Robot series. Brush up on these versions before October 2017.

There are 5 versions of the film included in this edition: Disc 1: The Final Cut (2007) Disc 2: Original Theatrical Cut (1982), International Theatrical Cut (1982) & Director's Cut (1991) Disc 3: Workprint & Special Features All 3 discs have different art on them. Each snap into their hubs nicely & are very secure, but don't feel as though they will break when taking each one out of its hub. The attached sketchbook inside is a nice little touch.

It's a great choice. I've bought a number of editions of this movie, even the laserdisc ! It was the best one yet with all four versions. If my family lets me I'll watch all of them back to back! And at a great price too.

It's a digitbook , it's a 5 star collectors item, 5 star picture and sound quality, and it's blade runner you cant go wrong and it's worth every dollar with 3 I believe different cuts of the movies so u get too enjoy it in every way

I lost my original copy in a flood, and needed a replacement. This one is in beautiful packaging, and includes a version of the movie I didn't have before (the International release). Together with the price, it was a must-get.
