    HDR gives Blade Runner a better image than the previous HD releases, however limitations of the source film are apparent. Film grain varies a lot, sometimes less sometimes too much, not sure if that's due to selective use of noise reduction or due to the extra clarity of 4K/HDR. My disc freezes and stutters at two points during the movie, but the disc does not appear to be physically damaged. I'm using an Oppo UDP-203 so it's not a "cheap" player. I'd like to exchange the disc and try another but none are available in my area.
