This game checks all the boxes of a good game. The graphics look amazing (the cutscenes are some of the best pixel art I've ever seen), the atmosphere is dark and moody without being edgy/cringy, and the game mechanics are familiar yet unique. Even a cool little comic is included in the box. However, my favorite part of this game is how responsive the controls are and how perfect the difficulty is. Blasphemous is difficult, but it's not unfair. Every death feels earned due to my lack of skill, rather than the game conspiring against me. I highly recommend playing this game with the Nintendo Switch Online SNES controller (in my photo) if you have one. It works extremely well with this game.

Another amazing metroidvania game from limited run games. This one is pretty mature so not really recommended for children. It's like the darksouls of sidescrollers. It's super rare now and out of stock.

It’s like Dark Souls, if Dark Souls was 2D and required you to have perfect-frame parrying. That aside, it’s a thrilling venture into a world where Catholic imagery is, uh, shall we say… dominant.

Very cool mature, cool, and engrossing atmosphere. This game can be very challenging similar to Salt and Sanctuary. It's another 2d dark souls type action adventure.

Really dark and creepy but fun if your into The hack and slash action. Should of got A bigger release, but any release is good enough.

Limited physical edition of this game on Nintendo normally available only through a download digital purchase. Great Atmosphere and throwback game play style from the retro days. This game will become a classic game remembered in our futures.

I finished Blasphemous on the Switch, it took 25 hrs and 30ish minutes to beat. There are two endings, and 3 unlockable skins for the main character. I liked it a lot and the areas in the game really reminded me of old Spanish Inquisition time churches and folklore. I still think Hollow Knight is the biggest bang for your buck metroidvania right now, and that Bloodstained is awesome, but Blasphemous almost seems like a lost Sega Genesis game, with similar art style to the Warlock game I loved as a kid. Really worth the play. I will come back to it every now and then, I’ve heard there may be free DLC in the future that allows new game + and a new character to play as.

Pretty decent game, combat gets repetitive but is still enjoyable. Can be challenging at times but not over bearing. Graphics and animation are neat

If you like challenging hack and slash games like dark souls this is one you can't miss! With a unique story and excellent gameplay, and massive free dlc to boot, you can't pass this one up!

Great game and even better now that we have the free DLC to enjoy. Pickup if you're a fan of Metroidvania type games. Good luck finding a physical copy.

Its a fun game. Much better than I was expecting. I'm glad I picked it up and started putting time into playing this Nintendo game. Its not a Triple a title but for a side scrolling game 5 stars to me.

This is an awesome product. The game is intense thematically. Don’t buy this if you’re sensitive to religious themes and definitely not for kids. It’s a limited release so grab it if you still can.
