received this on time and in great condition. I saw this many years ago but you hardly ever see it broadcast on network TV. This is just a great feel good movie with great acting by all off the characters. It really is too bad for whatever reason we dont see Brandon Frasier any more

A modern day fairy tale of a family who descends into their prepared bomb shelter and doesn't emerge until the radioactivity from the perceived bomb will have faded. A young man born in the shelter grows up in a time capsule before our society went all wrong in recent decades. His innocence gives us a fresh perspective on how many ways this country has changed for the worst, but instead of modern day Californians corrupt him, he uses what he has learned to make the world a better place for him and his family.

One of my absolute favorites. Everyone in the cast, particularly Brendan Fraser, is great and it's a very unique idea for a story. This is one of those movies that's hard to find anything to criticize. Just a lot of fun.

If you are old enough to remember survival drills in elementry and middle school (Sit under desk, knees tucked to your chest, cover face between your knees, citizens building bomb shelters all over the place) you will like this movie. Or the memories of putting sports cards in your spokes, mabe a Mantel or a Maris. Simple but funny movie.

Waiting for fallout 4 the game to come out i thought this would be a great movie to purchase on blu-ray, and the fact i already bought it on dvd years ago and really enjoyed it. After seeing it again on blu-ray, i enjoyed it even more plus with quality of blue-ray and this was an excellent transfer (also the price was great). I would recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for some fun in a movie and an adventure!

Great family film about a guy raised in a bomb shelter by super scared of the Commies, but loving parents. He emerges into a world he does not know and comedy and love follows. Very G rated for the most part, some PG-13 stuff. All the actors did a great job, casting was done well.

I remembered this movie about sheltering in place and thought in would be good to watch in a time of COVID-19. I really like the cast of Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Walken, Sissy Spacek and Dave Foley and especially enjoyed the dance scenes.

This is just a fun little movie that may not be award winning, but how can you go wrong with Christopher Walken? Plus for fans of Firefly seeing Nathan Fillion as the ex-boyfriend is something I had forgotten. Anyway it is a good popcorn movie, very light and charming. Again I purchased the Blu-Ray to upgrade/replace the DVD I owned.

I love this movie because the cast is so great. I like the story as well. I really like how educated Brendan's character is and well he adapts to the new environment. I don't care what anyone else is saying. This movie is great.

Fun entertainment for the entire family. We watch this almost every year and wanted to upgrade to blu-ray. I only wish it had more special features other then just the trailer.

This was a gem from the past. I missed it the first time around but was so glad to finally see it.

I love this movie!!! I would have gotten it on bluray but they don't have it. Totally worth it especially if you have a few Best Buy points that are about to expire.

I seen this movie before and I enjoy watching it. Since they put it on Blue Ray I enjoy it even more. The picture and sound are outstanding

I liked the way they met and the climax at the end. Thought it was an enjoyable story especially with the actor's character.
