This is the greatest Mel Brooks film ever! It is an all star cast of comedians who are sooooo politically incorrect on all levels, that you cannot help but die laughing. It is what every person should watch so they can learn to laugh at themselves and break down racial barriers. Life is too short to hate one another. Laugh in life and love one another so that the world can be a better place for all people to live in.

Blazing Saddles is a winner. The cast (including Gene Wilder, Clevon Little, Madeline Kahn, Harvey Korman, and Mel Brooks) is sensational in this comedy about the Old West. This DVD is a must both for those who saw it when it was originally released and want to watch it again as well as for the younger generation who now have the opportunity to see the genius of Mel Brooks.

This is one of the best comedies ever made. I bought this as a gift for a friend who loves this movie. It's a great blu-ray transfer, and has got special stuff in it they didn't even know existed, like the pilot episode for a potential TV series based on the film. If you like the film or know someone who does this is a definite buy.

This is classic Mel that we all love. I am glad he got to make this movie then, because he could never do it now due to our "we can't hurt their feelings" society that we live in now. This movie is funny from beginning to end. If you don't laugh, then you just don't get Mel.

A classic comedy that didn’t take itself or society too seriously. And no one was safe from the jokes and stereotypes in good fun! I’m surprised this hasn’t been targeted for cancellation by the boohoos yet. I’m sure it will be in time.

again if you do not think every second of this movie is hilarious then there is something seriously wrong with you and you need to seek help. don't feed the dog first, don't wait for the wife to get home, just go immediately to the nearest emergency room. Mel Brooks movies cannot be duplicated you will not be disappointed.

Being in my mid 50's this is a classic comedy that is always in the top 10 comedy movies of all time. Written by the comedic geniuses - Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor it makes fun of everyone and everything.

Remember the days of Don Rickles, Time Conway etc. when comedy meant adjusting someone's ideas and ideals without remorse and not be afraid to offend? Those days are gone and this is a classic of the bygone comedy days when people weren't so sensitive?. Wait we have Trump now...

Fantastic re-release of an amazingly funny movie. It's a classic for a reason, though not for the faint-of-heart if politically incorrect humor bothers you. A marvelously funny piece of humor from a different era, it will leave you rolling in the floor during many scenes.

In this day of PC and condemnation, it's great to see hot topics taken on with humor. Mel Brooks will be known for this classic comedy that would be tough to sell to production companies. Aspiring fail makers should be made to watch it for insight into humor and irreverence.

Could not find in any stores. Found on Best Buy web site and price and delivery time was excellent. The original is rarely shown on TV anymore.

Could Blazing Saddles get made today? Probably not, so thank goodness Mel Brooks made when he did. A hilarious smash-down of those who would judge a man by the color of his skin.

I watch this movie when I just want to have a good laugh. Everyone is perfect in it, the human is insane, irreverent, and way ahead of its time. Mel Brooks is a genius. Gene Wilder is hysterical. Cleavon Little is perfect. What a legacy they left.

Hilarious movie - there is no way this non-PC flick could be made now. This edition also has Mel Brooks - making of Blazing Saddles commentary, as well as other fill in material. Was only, $5 so I couldn't go wrong. In BlueRay format.

Leave it to the mind of Mel Brooks and his companies to re-engineer the classic comedy. Now with the extra footage which shows you more of what the movie was about and how it was made. A welcome addition as to the film.

It would be simply impossible to make a movie like this today. Take a step back to a time when we could just laugh at the absurdity of all the glass houses that are smashed into delightful little pieces.

Loved it. Classic old comedy. Typical Mel Brooks humor, but all the actors did such a great job. It was such an outrageous movie at the time, but hilarious.

This hilarious movie is not for everyone. You follow Sheriff Bart and the Waco Kid as they thwart Harvey Korman's plans to take over the town of Ridge Rock as the railroad is coming through the area. Lots of cameos and a lot of laughs.

A funny movie in its day, not sure if it could be made today with all of the groups we have that want political correctness. But, a gem of a movie that takes us back to the old west and shows how all walks of life can work together.
