While it doesnt have the overly broad range of speed settings of more expensive blenders from Blendtech or Vitamix, the speeds it does have can do everything most people would need. Great for smoothies, mixed drinks, and soups, it is easy to operate and clean. Gets a but loud, but what can you expect?

Love this blender. It makes smoothies better than any other blender I have every owned. It produces a quality smoothie comparable to those at Panara or any fast food restaurant. Yes it is noisy but it is a blender so not sure what people are expecting. It's no louder than any other blender I have used. I do like that the blade is not sharp. I can reach in to wash it out without avoiding the blade. Attractive enough to leave out on counter and not unusually large. It is comparable to the size of any average blender. So far my family loves it

Great blender, pretty quiet it works very well for smoothies like the cleaning function and the automatic function. Only complaint is that the vents in the top for hot liquid can also let some things splatter out but overall great.

I've owned a bunch of blenders over the past 50 years, all name brand models. This Blendtec is the MOST powerful blender I have ever used. It has a one-button program to make smoothies, and it makes the best ones ever! I love the one-button cleaning cycle; just add a cup of water, a few drops of dishwashing liquid and push the button. It changes speed three times as it goes through the cycle, and it's clean. Rinse out and dry. So far, I've only made smoothies and frozen cocktails in it. It pulverizes ice cubes! Kinda noisy, but it really gets the job done! Bought it during a BB one-day special. Highly recommended.

So far so good. We use the Blendtec almost every day to make smoothies. Every smoothie we've made has turned out great and the blender is so easy to clean using the self cleaning cycle. It's only been a month and we haven't tried to make anything too exotic yet.

Saw the Blendtec on America's Test Kitchen which was highly recommended. Then Best Buy placed it on sale and was very excited. Met all my expectations; well made and making smoothies is so easy and fast.

A little loud and likes to overheat of using wrong speed. Then you have to unplug and wait a few minutes. But overall it gets the job done. And it has a counter on it that tells you how many times you've used it.

Very pricey but worth every penny. So easy to use and so easy to clean. Loud, but the end result is worth the noise.

This is an excellent blender. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 (would have given 4.5/5) is because it still suffers on occassion from the air pocket effect, where when there is anything frozen, it will create an aipocket which then prevents the mixing, no matter how hard the motor goes. With that said, it still does its job fast and does it well.

Works well. I bought this size so it fits under my counter. The Vitamix is too tall. I don't need many settings, so the buttons this blender offers is just fine for me. Easier to clean than my last blender and I got a good price from BestBuy when it was on sale.

Veery disappointed in this product and their support service. I've had it for about a month and use it for making a smoothie in the mornings, which means it's been used no about 30 times. Now the only button that works is the highest speed. None of the "One Touch" pre-programmed buttons work. This item is clearly defective. I called for a replacement and Blendtec will only repair it, which means we will once again be without a blender for about 3 weeks. For the price we paid I would expect much better quality and service.

Great blender. Rivals a vitamix and other high end blenders. I was drawn to it Bc I saw it in a smoothie shop. Every now and then Best Buy has a deal on it. It’s super worth it at that price.

We had a ninja and best buy put the blendtec on sale! My family loves it! It has been used at least once everyday! It's so easy to clean and take care of, Weis we had it sooner. You wont regret buying this machine.
