Blessing In Disguise (1989) was Metal Church's first album to feature metal-master vocalist Mike Howe (RIP). Featuring the epic single "Badlands" that received some solid MTV airplay back in 1989, the album took Metal Church into their second, less thrash and more straight-ahead metal phase. Netherlands-based Music On Vinyl has resurrected this classic album on vinyl LP, which certainly sounds better than my cd every did. However, Blessing's overall production is still flatter than the 2016 (XI) and 2018 (Damned If You Do) albums that were released with Howe at the helm. Music On Vinyl has also done an nice job maintaining the quality of the original artwork and photos (no pixelation). I highly recommend this one if you want it on vinyl - the price is reasonable too (unlike many other vinyl reissues).

I'm new to collecting vinyl and have been having a hard time tracking down some of my favorite albums from my early teenage years... was ecstatic when I found this one was available! I couldn't break my credit card out fast enough when I saw it listed! An absolute masterpiece and sounds amazing on vinyl!
