I love these cameras. Easy set up. Ive since bought another set. There is a 5 second or so delay but they work great. Super clear, night vision is excellent. I work at night and with these cameras I can keep an eye on my front and back yard and see anyone who comes to the door and even talk to them. I can also yell at raccoons and scare them away from my trash and chicken coop.

These cameras are like I said in my title better to have than to wish you had. I purchased these to keep track of my driveway, porch and used the blink mini cameras inside my home to track my main entryways of my home. I'm in a rural area and we don't have police response here practically so I rely on my own security measures and awareness. These cameras help a lot with that as you can set alerts if motion is detected and the cameras will record anything that happened vs you questioning who knocked on the door etc.. The cameras battery life is certainly not going to be 2 years if you use these in a moderate-traffic area (people coming going etc).. The batteries last more like 6 months even using the Lithium Ion AAs recommended. To me, that is still impressive with the quality & quantity of videos they record & upload completely wirelessly. The quality of the image on your phone or device is going to be pretty dang good. Blink app itself is very user friendly. One issue is they do not have a way to look up the videos/pictures on a computer... You have to use the Blink app on your Amazon Fire TV device or Android/iOS device.. Kinda sucky in that regard. I wish I could check the videos from my Computer or a website.. The things work as advertised, that's really all I can say.

Bought this set on Black Friday sale and while it’s only been a day, these have exceeded my expectations! Setup could not be any easier and no wires is a huge plus! The cameras are pretty fast to turn on and start recording when the motion sensors detect motion and the quality of the video is amazing, even at night in near pitch darkness. There is the option to hardwire them with a micro usb cable if battery life becomes a concern, but only time will tell if that is a concern. They advertise two year battery life, but if I can get one out of them before a better change I’d be happy. I’m super impressed with the advanced motion detection, grey out the areas you want the cameras to ignore and set the sensitivity, that’s it, and it actually works. One of my cameras picks up two streets that intersect and the cameras have disregarded all traffic and people walking on the sidewalk, but the moment something comes into the non grey areas, it starts recording and send you an alert. Even picked up a cat that was at the edge of the camera’s view.

Very simple to install and setup. Limited functionality, but basically does what it should - detects motion, and takes a video clip. Some latency if you do live view - but doesn’t seem to be a problem when recording motion. Picture clear, including at night with infrared illumination. A bit too early to make comments re battery life.

I’ll start off by saying that I have purchased a lot of cameras and this is one that called my attention because of the ease of use, ease of setup and convenience. I love the fact that they are wireless. The 1080p provides great video ok. With that said I wish there were more features to it. The accompanying app is lacking options and overall seems outdated. I also wish there was a playback option as there as cheaper cameras on the market that have a full playback option and not just for when motion is detected. Its hard to set up the motion detection to catch the video because of the alerts especially if you’re home. The live view is also lacking the ability to connect fast.

The Blink XT2 system is a good camera and the system is easy to setup and use. I was surprised by the quality of the picture. This prompted me to purchase two add on cameras in order to provide more coverage of my property. So far things are working fine. I have discovered one drawback so far - This camera does not view through glass at night nor will it detect motion so you must mount the camera outside if you are looking for night coverage.

I have the Nest Outdoor cameras on my home and the Blink Cameras at my parents home. The Blink cameras are more affordable and much easier to install because they do not require A/C power. However, you don't get continuous recording as I get with the Nest cameras and the Nest cameras can alert you when they see a person or hear a sound. The Blink cameras are motion only. The image quality is pretty similar (I do not own the Nest IQ cameras, but rather the standard grade). I haven't owned the Blink cameras long enough to comment on battery life yet, but they have operated flawlessly for a month. Bottom line, the Blink cameras are a great affordable option, especially if A/C power at your camera location is not available.

Very easy to install. Not to bad with the quality. The sound quality is pretty good. You can hear everything in live mode. The only negative is when setting the sensitivity you won’t to know your areas. The batteries get worn out quick! All in all good purchase!

Excellent picture quality with some nice features for a novice. Set up was easy. A couple things though. First 1. No monthly fees - works for me. 2. If you want to mount your camera on anything except a vertical surface, you'll need to purchase a more omnidirectional mount. The mount worked perfect for three wall applications. Just make sure you push the camera onto the snap-in mount, you have to push hard and flat until it clicks. 3. I haven't had any false motion from plants in wind yet. I mounted them, aimed them and then blocked out on the motion sensor grid any tree limbs or leafy shrubs. 4. I like the simplicity of the software. You can use it right away without stress. Now that I'm getting used to it, I am playing with one setting at a time. Very easy. A friend bought the same after playing around with my cameras/softwar when we were up north at his cabin. Highly recommended

I'm very happy the the peace of mind these cameras provide. After the 4th time someone came into my entryway to steal or try and steal bikes I decided to invest in these. As a renter I appreciate that they don't need hardwiring and I was able to mount them to furniture rather than making holes in the walls. The video quality is good, the night vision as well. My only complaint is that depending on the direction of movement some things take a second or two to trigger the motion detection so there is a little bit lost. My neighbors are sometimes so fast passing through the hall that I only see the door close rather than the person that passed by. I also wish the record time was longer as one minute may not be enough when someone's doing something shady. I have it set to restart 10 seconds later but it would suck if it missed a key moment.

This is a great product only thing to know is that audio quality was great. Too much lag and speaker was hard to hear clearly. Clairity of the voice prblematic. Second is I get a lot of busy notifications and camera not availble issues. The connection time to the camera is not as quick either. Keep in mind if you use a higher settinf camera battery will deplete a lot faster However, I’d still it due to price, good quaity video and ease of use. Also you get 7 days of starage free. A definite plus.

    Blink XT2 Security Camera

Outstanding indoor and outdoor security camera and extremely easy to install and use. It allows you to set the sensitivity so it isn't triggered every time a squirrel runs by or a bird is in view if you don't want it to and yet it captures everything you want to be able to see with vivid clarity. I was hesitant to purchase it at first as I'm not tech savvy but this was so easy my Grandmother could have done it. I'm so happy with it, I will be buying an add on in the future. The flexibility of using it indoors, outdoors and at night makes this camera a gem. I highly recommended the Blink XT2 for its' quality, being user friendly and easy install that won't leave marks if you take it down, just two screw holes that can be easily patched up. A great investment for peace of mind.

I bought this just over a month ago. It is very easy to use and very easy to set up. How this camera works is it doesn't constantly record. It only records detected motion. You can see a live feed by manually telling to show a live view. If you are expecting to see a constant live feed, you need to buy another type camera system. If it constantly ran, the batteries would only last a day. Oh yeah, and the two year battery life....not gonna happen in the real world. I would think during real world normal usage, such as checking the live view, you will get about 4 months on the batteries. I base that on my use and battery consumption. I think they should make it clear in their brochure that it is not a constant live feed. The only other thing is the alert that you receive when it detects motion is somewhat delayed from when the motion is detected to when you receive the alert. I mounted this to monitor my back door. By the time i walked in my house and walked to the front door and stepped outside, I finally got the alert. I am not knocking the system. I am just giving a heads up on what to expect that isn't included in the brochures or item description. Overall it is a decent little camera system.

I couldn’t believe the easy set up. WiFi wireless. That part I was worried about. But I haven’t had any issues. I wanted wireless bc so easy pull wires if someone really wanted get crazy. This way it’s more challenging. And I had couple friends who has a home alarm system through companies paying monthly and they say their cameras not as clear. For a starter this good camera. Price is good. I been pleased. Storage hasn’t been any issues. I delete most or save into my iPhone. Night vision not too bad. But I keep porch lights on. I always like how I can turn the light on camera that shows pple it’s on like if it’s off.

I purchased this Security system as my home security. The cameras have a good clear view in daylight and night vision is fairly good in low light. I am still trying to get the sensitivity set. My biggest issue it that there is no compatible software for PC. I like being able to see the cameras on my phone when I am away from the house, but when at home I would like to have a computer running with the camera view on it instead of having to have the software running on the phone at home. I have an older android tablet that would be available to use but the version is not compatible.

These cameras are so easy to set up and price is way cheaper than the old fashion hard wired cameras that I spent several thousand dollars years ago for set up. So, I decided to upgrade and I am very pleased with them. I am not very handy nor am I a techie person, but I had no problem of putting them all up. The pictures and videos on my cell phone are very clear during the day. The night vision could be better, but after I put the motion sensor lights next to the camera, the night view became very clear. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a security camera system.

This is the first camera setup i have purchased. Range of view and sensor is pretty amazing. The sound isnt great but the video quality is nice. The nught vision is also pretty good and bright. There is about a 3 second lag for notifications which is to be expected since they are wireless. But overall i think there great. Now to see how long the batteries last. Even if they dont last 2 years theyre just AA batteries so nothing proprietary

We did a lot of research on quality cameras for the price. We wanted something with sound and night vision. We wanted WiFi. We wanted to be able to see stuff on our phones. We feel these cameras met our needs for the price. We had a different brand and kind but were bulkier and needed to be hardwired installed. We were glad these are not the case. Lithium batteries last a good length, but remember on high usage areas, it won’t last as long, so you may need to set parameters lower. It comes in black or white. Wish they made a tan to Match houses But that is just a small thing.

After reading several reviews on several systems we decided on Blink. We purchased the 5 camera system and we are very pleased with our purchase. Cameras have good WiFi distance allowing us to use a couple on our barns as well. The system offers the following qualities....clarity of video/pictures, sound quality is very clear, night vision has clear pictures (we’ve captured several critters on ours- deer, turkey, raccoons and coyotes), clear images in poor weather and a user friendly app. The system was very easy to install. My only regret is waiting so long to purchase. Highly recommend!!
