Best way to make purchases or add game time to your account, if you're planning on not using your credit card.

So, I have always been a big fan of Blizzard's games, so I thought that it would be a good idea to buy a gift card toward buying some new game content. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer and just spent over $650 on new washing machine. I purchased this $20 Blizzard gift card online and it arrived, so I went to Battle.net and input the code. I received an error message and the $20 was not applied to my account balance. I tried it several more times and checked the accuracy of the code multiple times. Finally, I contacted Best Buy support who said that their system said that Best Buy had not scanned/registered this card before sending it out. So, I drove over an hour to my nearest Best Buy store and the customer service rep tells me that his system says that the card code was used and therefore, could do NOTHING for me. He said that I had to go back to Blizzard and they would have to figure it out. So, I went back to Blizzard customer service and after 90 minutes, the rep tells me that there is nothing that he can do and that I need to pursue this with Best Buy. Best Buy has lost my business over this. Worst customer service I have dealt with.

Hello, I recently purchased a bunch of these for friends who play blizzard games, and I also bought some for myself. I play Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft.; I was able to easily claim codes online to update my battle net balance which can be used to buy all sorts of stuff in game. I bought some WoW game time, and some heroes of the storm heroes and skins while they were on sale throughout the holiday. The only thing I don't like is that say you buy a 20 dollar card... online items are taxed, so your card is really only worth a 17 or 16 dollar items.. because the rest goes towards paying for the tax.. i ended up with some change left on my balance that isnt enough to buy anything.. but i guess that's how all gift cards work. I guess i just wish online digital items werent taxed, but that is probably a conversation for another day.. either way, the codes redeem instantly online, and make great gifts for blizzard fans

There really isn't too much to say, despite the 'hearthstone' imagery, this is a generic battle.net wallet/balance card, and can be used with any battle.net game once added to your account.

Got these for my nephews for are always nagging for Battle.net gift cards so they can buy Heroes of Storm skins and WoW tokens. These are great gifts and easy to use. For those that are uncomfortable saving credit card info on your battle.net, this is the way to go. Best Buy always has plenty.

I was able to scratch off the code and enter it in to the Battle.net site as soon as I got home. It worked perfectly. I used it when the local Best Buy was out of stock of the WoW Battle Chests so I bought a few of these and used the currency on the Battle.net store to buy the Battle Chests there.

If you're like me and wary of having your credit card linked up to online accounts, this is the best way to get Hearthstone packs or Blizzard games or whatever you want through Battle.net. Plus there's no tax, so there's really no reason for Blizzard to have your credit card info.

This card lets you add credit to your Battle.net account. This credit is used to purchase games, game time and/or in game content for popular Blizzard games like WOW, HOTS, and my personal favorite, Hearthstone. Scratch and add was simple.

Gift card for $20. I used it for my Hearthstone game but you add it to your battle net account so it works with any of the games across battle net.

This card for Hearthstone worked great. Just as expected, loaded the balance and was able to use it on the solo adventures. Preferred getting the card from best buy to earn rewards with them rather than spending directly with blizzard.

Hearthstone can be played without spending money, but that would take patience and alot of unecessary hours and days just to get everything you need. Buy a simple 20$ blizz card and u can unlock expansions, buy packs or new heros

If you would like to somewhat limit the amount of money you pay to your Blizzard gods, this card is a good way to go about it. Also good for anyone in your life that is interested in Hearthstone and/or World of Warcraft.

This is a great way if you don't want to put your card information into your profile for Blizzard and you can buy in-game stuff or even make a digital game purchase. I purchased the StarCraft Anthology and loving it.

I buy these cards for my teenager so he can have funds on his battle.net account without having to have my credit card attached to his account. Very convient especially when I get Best Buy points in addition.

I prefer to use this over putting my back account info into the blizzard website because it gives me a set amount I can spend instead of racking up the charges by having blizzard take the money out of my account.
