Picked this album up for a steal on BestBuy.com ($11!) and could not be happier. Was originally backordered for months, not that I cared at that price, but I ended up getting it a week later with the rest of my order shipped for free. Can't complain about that. As for the music, this is that sweet spot between RHCP's raw early funk and the later alt rock stuff they evolved into. Best of both worlds.

This is the 2002 pressing of BSSM (not the more recent one) and it does not disappoint! I was really looking forward to hearing how Flea's bass sounded on vinyl (and it's really good), but the drums are what blow me away. There's so much dynamic sound that's crisp and clear coming from Chad Smith's drums that it sounds like he's in the room with you! Great addition to my vinyl collection.

Anyone who knows the Red hot chili peppers knows this album is a must have. Being a record collector, it is one you also must have in your collection. Great format, great packaging and a great price. No regrets whatsoever.

I'm a huge Red Hot Chili Peppers fan and this pressing really does the music justice. Long live physical media and analog audio!

The vinyl seems to be fine. This album is one you can easily listen all the way through both sides.
