Machine Head's latest cd is just a great cd... great production, songwriting, performance.while i thought 2011s "Unto the Locust" was a short & sometimes uninspired set, Bloodstone & Diamonds is a huge comeback. Vicious & heavy like The Blackening but with new atmospheric & string touches w/o being sappy. a must buy!!!

No reason to mince words here. If you love metal you must own a copy of the new Machine Head release "Bloodstones and Diamonds". IMO it is their best disc ever with "The Blackening" comes in a close second. What are you waiting for? GO GET IT!

While some songs may seem rooted in late 90's early 2000's metal, this album is an overall classic.

My introduction to Machinehead. This is an excellent album. Favorite song is Game Over"

Very Hard stuff! Great Vocals and Guitars! Definitely a must!!

The album blends some classic Machine Head with the more modern elements. I think this cd is a little better than the previous effort. If you have enjoyed the last couple albums then you will like this as well.

This is a great album. It is MH at it's most dynamic and diverse. As far as heavy is, this album lacks a little there, but that doesn't take away from what makes it great. My only gripe would be that there are songs that sound very mainstream.

There isn't a single track on this cd that isn't great! trust me.

Another epic album from the current kings of metal.

Excellent follow-up to Unto the Locust. I don't like this one quite as much as Locust, but it is a solid album, and one of the best metal albums of 2014.

If your are a fan of Machine Head, you will enjoy this CD.The music and the vocals are very stong. This is one of the best CD"s that they have released.
