    Movie was incredible! The criterion version had a new mastering and the audio visual was incredible. Would recommend.

    One of my favorite John Travolta movies comes to 4K format! BLOW OUT is that early '80s thriller with Nancy Allen (Carrie, Dressed to Kill, Robo-Cop). John plays a soundman for an independent movie company and while recording some audio one night locally, he notices an accident that has a car going into the river from a bridge. He saves the woman inside, and then gets entangled into a political murder mystery involving the woman (Nancy Allen). The movie looks really good here on 4K, probably the best it has ever looked. Menus are good and there are some extras from Criterion, of which were brought over from the previous releases. The only thing that was not upgraded was the sound for the 4K. It is DTS English 2.0 and if you have a good soundbar, at least, it's good enough for this movie.

    Criterion has put a great 4K for this one! Excellent video and sound quality for a film from 1981 and the movie still holds up in 2022. Buy with confidence!

    One of my first criterion purchase and I have to say it’s awesome. The movie itself is good it’s the younger John Travolta. I highly recommend it.

    I've seen it countless times since it first came out. Extremely underrated movie with excellent acting, especially by Travolta and John Lithgow.

    This is a very nice 4k resolution put out by the Criterion Collection company. Also, this a good film from John Travolta. Highly recommend!

    Great movie by De Palma. If you love his stories and camera work, you'll love this one. John Travolta was great and a riveting story.
