The phone was easy to setup and the screen is big enough to read comfortably on one's palm. Good for the amount of money I paid. The downside of the unit is the poor quality of the pictures. The RAM memory seems little and one needs to clear the cache often for other applications to work. Other than that my wife liked it and in several aspects she liked the BLU better than her i-phone 6.

It is amazing what you can get for $50.00! I needed an unlocked phone to support my new Microsoft Band 2 (a great item as well) since my Samsung Vibrant, while still working well, was too old for the Microsoft Health app. This phone seems to do it all and for next to nothing pricewise. An excellent choice.

I use a tablet to store info, browse internet, etc., so I don't need much from a phone; basically just to make calls, an occasional text, & store contacts. I don't need it to take award-winning photos of my latest expedition for NatGeo, process special effects for the scifi blockbuster I'm producing, monitor how much oxygen I have left, etc. :) This phone replaced a 5-year old (I know, ready for a museum) non-smart phone that still worked & was, frankly, perfectly adequate for my modest needs, but whose 2G technology was being phased out by my carrier. I spent a long time looking for a phone that would perform those basic functions easily w/o demanding a lot of attention for setup or requiring me to pay a premium for features I'd never use. This phone has fit the bill perfectly - the transition was almost seamless: I found the operating system intuitive - it took a couple of minutes to transfer the contacts from my old phone w/the SIM card, & I was able to figure out how to do whatever else I needed to do pretty quickly. Within a few days I was operating as comfortably as I'd been w/the phone I'd used for years. The occasional photo or internet access has been suitable for my modest needs. 2 minor points: 1) I miss having the ability to assign custom ring-tones to some contacts; 2) also miss built-in ability to block particular numbers, but there are 3rd party apps for those things, & I don't consider them deal breakers. I'd definitely recommend this phone to anyone who wants basic functions & doesn't want to pay for a lot of unneeded bells & whistles.

I bought this for my mom over a month ago as a replacement for a phone of comparable price but which turned out as lacking video chat and other similar functions despite the explicit claim of those qualities on its ads. It has impressed me every day of its use. works just fine with no complaints as it performs up to expectation as described on its ads.

I found the phone to have a lot of features of the more expensive phone brands. As this was for a teenager I was pleased with the features and the price.

The Blu Phones are a good backup phone when you realize your smartphone went kaput. Note that this phone takes the normal size Sim cards. You will need to get a MicroSim/NanoSim tray if you want to use this thing if yours isnt larger, older generation Sim cards.

I purchased this smartphone for my mother. Basically she needs telephone calls, SMS messages and WhatsApp messages, plus photos. So far, it has surpassed my expectations in terms of performance, screen responsiveness, connectivity and battery life. Definitely a nice device

The device is a nice small sized phone. The processing power is actually pretty good for what I've seen with cheaper phones and I can successfully say it is enough for average use. The battery lasts a usual amount of time depending on applications running but if you put it into airplane mode it will last over a week in battery life. Have not tried just GSM with no WIFI enabled. I would expect nearly as long.

This is a basic phone that will do everything you wish, at a fraction of the price. This is a good temporary or backup phone. For starters, it has less memory(512MB = 0.5GB) ,a dual core processor and only 4GB of storage. You can increase the storage by adding an SDHC card(up to 64GB) for a small price. However, you will notice the effects of the memory and processor when you run something like Waze on it. Also, the camera is only a 2MP camera vs. 8MP or 12MP in the more popular phones. So, you will not get very sharp pictures. Again, this is an Android phone that will do most of what you want for a very small price (less than sixty bucks). Also, the box says it's a 3G phone, not a 4G phone. So, please verify before buying. If you are going to keep the phone for a long time, invest in a phone with more features and power.
