Cell phone was easy to set up and started working right away!

I'll admit, I ordered this pretty much for the looks and price alone. Now that I have it, I am VERY pleased with my decision. You must understand this - the BLU Vivo 4.8 HD looks at least ten times better in the hand, in person, than any webshot or youtube video can possibly present. It looks and feels fantastic! Videos look great and photographs POP on the large, super AMOLED display - a large, beautiful screen and rewarding view experience. Forget specs, don't worry about resolution - and pay no attention to whatever you may hear from internet "critics" and tech sites ... in the real world, in practical use, this phone (and display) look GREAT. Performance is good. It's considered to be "mid-level" spec, but for everyday use, it's quick, responsive and up to task. I've got a third-party launcher running, several active widgets and about fifty or sixty apps installed, with AV protection and am not lacking or wanting for speed / responsiveness at all. Boxed beautifully, BLU thoughtfully includes a NICE protective back cover in the box! Very thin, transparent and light enough to where you barely know its attached. This, along with standard fare, such as Charger, USB charging cable and a passable set of earphones. Of course, you already know this phone is THIN - very thin, something the BLU Vivo 4.8 HD is best known for, a factor that contributes greatly to the small cult following it enjoys ... a following that continues to grow through word-of-mouth and youtube vid clips. The 4.8" screen size is darn-near perfect, setting the Vivo somewhere between a standard phone and "phablet" territory. I upgraded from a 4.3" screen and am amazed at the huge difference that half-inch makes. FAR better email, web surfing and photo browsing experience, it makes me wish I had bought this a long time ago. Unlocked for use with GSM carriers (at this price???) ... I've set mine up with Metro PCS and everything is perfect. I've also heard it works well with Ultra.me. The porting process (from Boost Mobile / Sprint) took just a few minutes, all MMS and SMS settings were perfect, as I left the store. It is amazing to find so much quality, design acumen, looks and performance in an unlocked piece of phone kit for under $250. Fantastic, and my hat is off to this maverick maker of "Phones-For-The-Rest-Of-Us". Thank you Amazon, thank you BLU! .....
