For a dc movie, its subpar at best. However as a collector, i had to pur hase this. Unfortunately the steelcase was no longer available as it sold out before it even hit stores it seems

I didn’t know what to expect with this movie as I took a gamble buying it on disc without seeing it in theaters. One of my best purchases on physical media. This movie had so much campy fun. Definitely a romcom for the super hero genre. I can’t wait to see how DC incorporates him in future projects.

Big fan of the Blue Beetle underrated DC hero. Movie has some flaws but the action and humor balance out. Dcus best movie since Aquaman and made no money so hoping they still keep Jaimie and his family out there for a Teen Titans movie one day!

good movie! I really enjoyed this movie and I didnt know that Blue Beetle had a stand alone comic book. But I liked the movie and I'll watch it again.

This is a fun movie. Not to many of these anymore. Practically the entire cast is Spanish about time. In our political correct world we've had black based movies gay movies women leads with mostly woman. This movie is simply meant to enjoy no heavy message here. Just a fun movie that will make you forget all that & just say wow that was fun

Funny and better than the critic's reviews. The only negative is the family running around with him the entire movie, but thats what made it funny.

The trailers for this movie looked pretty cool, but I was unable to catch this one in the theaters when it came out. So when I saw it for sale at BBuy, I grabbed a 4K UHD BluRay copy on a whim. I enjoyed the fact that the movie really embraced Mexican culture, employed a cast of largely unknown (to me as an American, anyway) Hispanic actors, and featured a Hispanic writer and director to boot. Sadly, most of that was wasted on a highly mediocre, seen-it-100-times-before storyline, mediocre scriptwriting, poor pacing, average VFX, and the inclusion of campy “family-bonding” scenes that felt forced, and obnoxiously annoying acting by the talented Susan Sarandon and George Lopez. The 4K version looks absolutely gorgeous on my new Sony OLED tv and Panasonic 4K player, and the audio mix with my Marantz/Martin Logan surround-sound was amazing as always. There are the typical fun behind-the-scenes content, subtitles and the like that nicely round out the disc. The movie had lots of potential, but fell far short of the mark for me. Save the $30 and rent this one instead, unless you’ve already seen it and loved it or are a huge fan of the comic.

Funny and action packed movie. Loved the pacing and overall story. We’ve watched it 5 times since buying it. Definitely recommend this movie.
