Versatile. I use it on low to simmer meat (you can sear at the end if you want char), on high to cook and char vegetables (carrots, string beans, bell peppers) which adds a sweetness, and on high to make pancakes. It's a great advantage to cook top and bottom at once as it eliminates splatter and cuts cooking time in half. I wash the plates when they are still a little warm in soap and water, using my fingers. They have been easy to clean. I would not put them in the dishwasher as the detergent may damage the non-stick surface eventually. I don't put my expensive pans in the dishwasher either, who would be that silly? My only complaint is that the top does not get quite as hot as the bottom plate, but in practice that hasn't really mattered. A very versatile tool.

Cooks well. Not a good system for draining though. There are no catch pans. Will work if you let it drizzle on the ground.

This griddle is very good. I would give it five stars if the lid didn't sit a bit lopsided when set to the "open" position for thick food item grilling, and if it weren't the second one I've had to order from Blue Diamond. The lid release to lay the top flat didn't work on that one. For thinner - but not thin - items cooked with the lid down, you my have to rotate them during cooking for an even cook. On the positive side, this is a great replacement for my George Foreman that didn't have removable plates, and was a total hassle to clean. The Blue Diamond is so easy to clean. Even cooked-on messes clean easy after just a few minutes of soaking the plates. I use this at least once/day.

Like it use mainly for breakfast. Smaller I thought it was gonna be. But it big enough for what i use it for. Check dimensions before purchasing, i failed to but still happy with product.

This griddle is awesome for making breakfast and cooking more than one thing at a time. Can’t wait to try it with other items.

So far so good for the price we pay. We use it for our Sunday brunch. I prefer use it at higher temp for better browning for sausages and hash browns.

I would highly recommend the purchase of this griddle. Arrived on time, and will packaged.

Cooking plates had damage out of the box. Manufactured with poor quality. Temperature control switch inaccuracy, cooking plates’ non stick coating chipped off at the slight bump from wood counter. If I were a company, I would be embarrassed to have the company name on such product. Was looking forward to using product only to be left disappointed and leaving much to be desired. Save yourself the trouble and not purchase this product.

I saw this in my friend;s house, Its an amazing product at right price. The food was delicious.
