I purchased this item to stream online and it serves it's purpose. Quality sounds good and for a budget mic, it's worth every penny!

I bought this to compare with the pricier Audio Technica ATR2500. Both have their strong points. The Blue Snowball is better for interviews due to its onmidirectional recording. The AT2500 is better for one person speaking. As to sound quality, it is a tossup. Both are good. The BS picks up more ambient noise so that can be a problem but the voices on both sound full and rich. I don't think you will regret buying the Snowball. I am happy I have both for two kinds of podcast recordings.,

Great little microphone at a reasonable price. Very clear and vibrant sound for an inexpensive microphone.

My son uses this item to record himself while playing video games to post on UTube. He uses it all the time and I consider it a good value.

I purchased this to record voices all throughout a a large area from a stationary location, and it worked great (on setting 3), picking up clear audio from all over the room. No drivers to install, although you have to adjust the microphone gain in Windows 7. I would have liked a more detailed instruction manual, but that's not much to criticize.

I use this on my ps4. Took a couple of tweaks for it to work but when it did it worked flawlessly. Sounds great also on the ps4!

This is an extremely popular mic with YouTubers and podcasters. I sort of assumed it was because it's a great mic for a great price. Well, not exactly. It's worth what you pay for it, but it's nothing special. It does have one nice feature that changes the polarity of the mic from cardioid (focussing in on the narrator) to omni (sort of like your built-in laptop mic) recording everything in the room (like a meeting). The mic sound is nothing special, in fact, for all the hype I was quite dissapointed. It sounds as plastic as it looks. :( A much better mic is the old Shure SM58—a standard stage vocal mic for decades. Of course it's nearly twice the price AND you'll need an additional USB interface or mixer. So if all you want is a mic that's a little better than your built-in laptop mic, and simply plugs into your laptop via USB, then this is a good choice, but not at all professional.

The Blue Snowball mic unbelievably easy to setup. GarageBand picked it up with now additional setup needed. I picked up the mic for recording podcast sessions, the vocal quality comes through loud and clear, and with a pop filter and isolation booth sounds professional when processed. Definitely worth the $50 price!

This device reminds me of a 60's television show. Except, the technology is 2016. Highly recommend.

I needed a replacement microphone to do some voice overs for videos and bought this one based on the reviews. Considering the price, an excellent quality microphone. I was able to attach my pop filter to the included stand as well. A great value!

My boys love it what else can I say? Is was on there wish list for Xmas.......

Clear my son loves it. Nice stand you don't have to be near the mic.
