There's a reason many YouTubers use these high quality microphones; they capture audio very well and won't tip over. By the way, the microphone is detachable from its base for mounting on an arm.

Best USB Microphone ever! OK, sounds repetitive. But it is true. While podcasting would be fun, one overlooked use is for dictation. I use Dragon on my Mac. I have spent over $1,000 fruitlessly on microphones from Samson, Phillips SpeechMike, Plantronics, and many others. NONE of them are consistent. I have decided the microphone quality is generally quite poor, as is noise rejection. They are generally poorly directional, having immense shifts in frequency response depending how off axis you are. This radically affects recognition with even a few degrees off axis speech. The Yeti, on the other hand, is a very high fidelity microphone, it has tunable directionality, and maintains balance when even significantly off axis. I set it on my desk and can dictate with the best fidelity and accuracy I have ever experienced with Dragon. Dragon now is actually useful. And...it looks way cool on my desk!

I love my Yeti Microphone, but it's already broken!!! The place where the usb cord plugs in has become loose, and it loses connection while I'm using it! It's so disappointing! STill, it is the best sounding microphone I've ever used. It just plugged into my HP laptop and bam, I sounded good ( and usually I don't sound that good )... I'm looking forward to fixing it or trading it in on another one. I still recommend it. If you're looking for a podcast mic, anything might work, but if you want to do music, too, check out the Yeti...

For the price and what this microphone does, I am happy. Easy to use and makes me sound better on a zoom call than any webcam.

This mic is a classic to anyone who wants to record. The only thing i would recommend is to get a pop filter for it as it does not come with one.

Works very well and has different modes for if you are recording yourself, a room, or two people across from each other like an interview.

Overall happy with this microphone. The sound quality is excellent so far. As an added bonus it looks nice on my desk.

Got it so I could play bells and clappers over Zoom meetings. Plug in the Blue Yeti, turn on "original sound" on Zoom, and you get a very natural sound without much background noise. High quality sound at a very reasonable price.

The quality on this mic is superb! Crisp and very clear. I have had some connectivity issues here and there but they are an easy fix. Great for podcasting!
