Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the junk USB wire that comes with this kit. Yes the microphone is amazing but I had to buy a new USB cable due to intermittent connectivity. I thought it was a software issue for hours and hours until I found a deep Reddit poster mentioning they had the same problem and replaced the USB cord. I did that and now it works like a dream. Beware you may need to buy a new cord but you shouldn’t have to with a kit like this… I hope they fix this!

I have two blue yetis. On one computer, I have the Yeti sitting on the desk, and it's the type of desk that has the PC on a tall shelf. I get a little hum that I can hear when I play back the recordings. I put an old folded up tee shirt under the mic, and the noise is substantially reduced. So, when I got this setup, I was excited to see if the boom would isolate the Yeti well enough to eliminate the hum-- and it did!! It's also nice that it doesn't take up any desk space. I just have it hovering over my monitor. I can pivot it to me if I want, but it's not necessary, because the mic pics up sound real well.

The Yeticaster has great audio and the arm works with ease. I would recommend it to anyone who needs this type of mic or is looking to capture good audio.

Although the pricing can be seen as absurd, this microphone is worth every penny. The stand is premium compared to any cheap option that can be found on Amazon. The Blue Yeti itself is aesthetically appealing, and sounds amazing. I would highly recommend this combination to anyone. Even though this product is advertised primarily to streamers, this is still a viable option to anyone wanting a premium sounding Microphone. The only complaint I had with this was the setup process. The instructions weren't the most clear (You may find them better). Be sure to Watch out and not bend the stand arm back the wrong way. It can snap very easily.

Use the microphone for gaming and podcast/vbloging - much better than my headset microphone. Decently priced and easy to setup.

Amazing mic quality, the boom arm is a little loose at the base when swiveling but it's not annoying and doesn't move around when I don't want it to.

A superb effort at a USB microphone. My audio is always clear and I don't have to use the software to make it work well. A fantastic find!

A Yeti Mic will run you about $100 - $130 A boom arm will be around $15 - $30 A shock mount will be around $20 - $40 The particular Yeti mic that is bundled here is about $130 by itself which most people would purchase separately. The Blue Compass boom arm is high quality, most people would opt for a lessor one along with a cheaper shock mount. So the real difference is around $30 for cheaper equipment. You decide at that price point. The boom arm is more complicated to use than initially expected. There is a screw at the bottom of the arm to adjust the tension.

This microphone is excellent, great sound quality and adjustable so it’s not in the way while gaming.

Much improves the sound of recording and broadcasting. Used for recording singing and musical instruments for recordings to be played back in Google Classroom and YouTube, Zoom broadcasts, and other recordings. Guitar, Recorder, vocals are all enhanced and have a much enhanced sound than before. The setup is easy, portable, and is flexible enough to be done to be done wherever it seems fit to record. In this time of Covid when several laptops are in use at once, it is nice to be able to be flexible and not require dedicated space.

Mic quality works great. One time it did get all muffly, but I unplugged the usb, restarted the PC, and the crisp quality came back. Putting the arm assembly together, I was skeptical it would hold the mic in position, but I believe after you secure the arm to a table and the weight of the mic with gravity pulls the proper tension on the springs, everything stays put all the time. Fantastic for saving desk space and keeping the mic out of the video shot. So far it's all good even with the minor hiccups.

The microphone sounds great, the software is easy to use, i wish it came with a pop filter but everything you get for the price is a steal.

I really like the sound quality of this particular mic and its ability to be a jack of all trades. I've used all the settings, and it performs well at all the settings. I record quite a bit of stuff, and I'm impressed by it. However, there is no way to turn the mic off. You can mute it and adjust it in many ways, but there doesn't seem to be a way to turn the mic off. The only way to turn it off is to unplug it at the actual mic or the USB connection. It's easy enough to do, but the more you mess with those connections, the more risk the breakdown of those parts.

Excellent value setup. This microphone has great sound quality for recording audio. Setup is easy and the product is well made.
