A creepy classic from the 80's. Picture and sound are good.

Hailed as the number 2 movie to see of the 1980s; second to Raging Bull. Without a doubt this is probably David Lynch’s most original movie. What happens in a small town is not as simple as it appears, especially the characters. Tour de force performances from the entire cast. And seeing Dennis Hopper as an abusing bad guy like you have never seen him before. Truly a must see for the ages.

Blue Velvet is a strange yet enticing film that fans of David Lynch will surelt enjoy. The Blu-Ray version looks fantastic and really enhances the cryptic cinematography. Very happy with my purchase.

If you enjoyed Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive, this movie falls into the same genre. I also viewed the Criterion blu and there is very little difference in terms of transfer, so if you don’t want to shell our $30 and more for the Criterion version, this is a great alternative.

David Lynch films are definitely surreal and understandably are not for everyone- if you’re interested in exploring Lynch’s work or surrealism in film in general, this would be my top recommendation- I’d like to think Dennis Hopper’s performance alone makes it a worthwhile watch.

Haunting masterpiece from David Lynch. This isn't the criterion edition but it's almost as good. The picture is superb but the extras are even better - so cool to have a feature length documentary about the making of the movie!

Good acting but very weird story. Typical for David Lynch I guess. Definitely not for kids or most people.

Anyone that's a fan of David Lynch or Twin Peaks will want this for their collection. The odd eeriness of the film is the proto-Twin Peaks & the deleted scenes show more weirdness than I though was possible.

Have not watch this movie in awhile. From what I remember it was good.

I quickly became a Lynch fan after seeing this movie. I can always go for his surreal approach to filmmaking but Blue Velvet has a perfect balance of stylistic elements. It's a cool yet freaky film.

This is a weird movie from david lunch very weird but it was very much worth watching. The blu ray transfer was good as you would expect too.

Everything I love about Lynch's movies. I love Twin Peaks, so this was a must watch. It was everything I was hoping for.
