Always loved BOC. They are somewhere between rock and metal. Some called them 'thinking man's metal.' This has classics such as Cities on Flame and Last Days of May. The recording could have been better, which is why its 4 stars instead of 5. Can't beat the price here on BB!

I absolutely love this CD by this group, but the 1st part of the first song had arrived damaged since I took it out to play it for the first time. I need to exchange it and try another copy of this CD - hopefully there will be no damage on that one. I would recommend this CD to everyone but only if it has no damage. So sorry but I had to check "poor" for the overall rating because it breaks my heart to hear the damage first thing when I play it - I have tried it on 3 relatively new CD players and the damage is there on all of them, so it's not my equipment which is broken. When I receive a replacement copy and it plays well, I will check the "excellent" box under overall rating . . . .

Where it all began for BOC. Does not include any of their hits that you hear on the radio, but some great songs. Cities on Flame with Rock N Roll is mandatory for those who enjoy classic hard rock.
