I was looking for air purifier for a while. We own one that is cheap, but I always felt that it didn't do a good job of purifying, I still had a smell of food in the bedroom. This one is a hardcore appliance; I have two of them, one is model 203 for our child's bedroom, the second is model 503 for master bedroom. We keep bedroom doors closed and let air purifier work all night and half day. Excellent results: no smell of cooked food, my family members have restful sleep, wake up fresh, without stuffiness (my child is allergic to pollen). It keeps rooms clean and dust free for an extended period of time, I don't see occasional dust bunnies on the floor anymore. I highly recommend registering your appliance as soon as you get it. After a couple of months our #203 model started making some noise on lowest setting. I contacted company and they immediately sent me a new one as a replacement since my product was registered. The best customer service and the warranty! If I will be able to afford I would definitely get 2 more, one for my kitchen and the other one for a living area. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend this purifier.

Have owned several of these when we lived overseas and, when used with the SmokeStop filters, were great at keeping indoor air clean despite the polluted outside air. I've noticed a lot less dust in the air (the kind you can see on a sunny day floating about). I knocked off one star because all my previous BluAirs came with the SmokeStop filters, however the one purchased here came only with the particulate filters which I don't believe have the carbon that eliminates odors and chemicals from the air.

I have had this item for seven months and love how quiet it is and how well it cleans the air. I have three cats and the air smells fresh and clean. This has also helped with keeping the room cleaner.

The Blue Air unit is almost silent on the lowest speed and seems to improve the air quality. I have less allergies to dust with the unit on. So far I have left it on 24/7 with no problems.

Spouse has severe breathing problems and we live on a very dusty road. In our area of the country, this is our high allergy season with everything blooming and greening up. He says the air quality is better and breathing is easier.

It does what is promised. We have 3 indoor cats and the dander was finally bothering us. The cats are now quite old and we have had them since they were kittens. Did not have a need for a purifier until recently. We were both sneezing when we came out in the a.m. as they are not allowed in the bedrooms. Now we are ok with no sneezing or runny noses.

On full speed it's pretty loud. But on slow speed I barely notice it.

with 5 dogs and a cat in the house you can imagine the dust and dander problems they create even with daily cleaning. since we started usng the blueair 503 air purifier the dust/dander problem has been significantly reduced and the air quality has improved. We have the bluair set up in a 20 X 16 room set it on high while at work and turn it down when we get home. The noise level on the high setting is comparable to the high setting on an average box fan the other 3 settings you barely notice the unit is running. overall we are quite satisfied with the unit.

I love this product. I've had it for about 7 months or so. It's extremely quiet. I can barley tell it's on. AND my air is so fresh! Love it! Well worth the price I paid for it.
