Like it. Some notice in the air quality. Worth the buy honestly. We can use their app to let it go off at certain times which is nice and notifies us when a new filter is needed.

Works great. Easy app setup and quiet operation. Filter replacements are costly, but less expensive than the Classic models. We now own 3 BA purifiers.

Great deal. This is a great filter. It’s my second one that I bought for the upstairs. It will clear out a large area fast.

This is pricey but well worth the money. We have noticed a difference in air quality and dust reduction within 24 hours of purchase

The Blueair 7470i Air Purifier Is a stylish and very quiet air purifier that would be right at home in any living room. I can't stress enough how quiet it is! You really can forget that it is running. Set up is very simple. In all honesty, just using it in auto mode will be just fine for most. But you do have complete control over the unit as well. Auto mode will adjust the fan speed as needed. But you can manually set this as well. As with so many home appliances these days, you do have a Bluetooth connected app. This of course allows you to set the controls and to monitor the unit. The app is easy to use & understand. I don't expect most will have any problem with it. The filter is rather large and easy to insert. I haven't priced out the replacement filters yet, but from the looks of the filter I don't expect to be changing it often (supposedly rated for 1 year). There is a monitor that will let you know when to change it. The design is very modern and blends in well. It is kind of large, but I think that's a good thing. Sure you can spend less on much smaller units. But are they really doing any good? The top LCD display is great. Touch controls work nicely and neither the brightness or colors of the LCD are overly distracting. It can tell you the temp, dust levels and such. Took me a few minutes to understand some of this but it is very useful information. It will also let you know when the air is clean. If it detects do much dust, pollen, smoke and so on it will keep track of the progress it is making in cleaning the air. I am sure simpler air purifiers might clean the air just as well. But do you really know they are working? With the level of information toy get from the 7470i you can feel a lot more confident about it. And with it's ability to kill up to 99% of air born viruses and bacteria isn't that something you want to know? Now, do I "feel" the difference in the house? Yes! I have noticed less dust and less sneezing. Also seems to be helping keep the cat's litter box odor in check :-) I really do feel that this will be a long lasting purifier that will help out a lot and I highly recommend it!

Excellent unit that is extremely silent. Would highly recommend to anyone. Gets rid of cooking smells quickly as well.

We have purchased several of these to be placed through out the house, and they work great.

Seems to work really well and the lights on the top let you know when there are particles in the air.

So quiet that one forgets its there unless change of color indicates some small particles.

Awesome air filter. We purchased this for our master bedroom and it’s been fantastic in general but especially for fire season. The controls on the phone is really good (eg., being able to turn off the LED and enable child lock is super helpful).

Excellent air purifier. It has made a difference and no longer wake up congested. The app is nice to be able to look at air quality. If you have pets, this should help. It is amazing what it filters out.

Unit is good app for it is trash. I have 4 blueair units with 0 issues, 4xx and 6xx, this one goes offline several times a day for no reason. The others this never happened.

We would be happy to assist with your app concerns if you can email info@blueair.com

Great air purifier. 4 stars because they don't explain the dual colors on the light bar. Took time to find that half the bar reports VOC. Air flow is very quiet, unit is efficient. Goes down to 1 PPM.

Skeptical at first because I really couldn’t tell a noticeable difference.Plus when I initially plugged in and started it up, my air was already reading as excellent. So I let run on auto for a few days and that’s when I could tell a difference in the air quality and the overall performance of this machine. I leave it on auto because it seems to know what to do and when to do it. I have it setup primarily in our living room which is open space with the dining area. When the wife is cooking is when this machine shows its magic. The led lights in the top of the machine that display air quality turn from blue (excellent) and cycle thru the color spectrum towards red for poor air quality. There is also a digital read out that displays the size of particles that are being trapped by the filters. There appears to be many features but like I said I just allow it to do its job. While cooking the machine goes into overdrive and turns up the fan speed to clean the air. It does wonders filtering the air quickly and removes the cooking smell from the room. It s also very quiet when operating. The fan has stayed on the lowest setting and I have yet to see it turn off automatically. That doesn’t bother me much because it is so quiet you cannot hear it working. The app that is included is very user friendly and shows outdoor and indoor air quality. You can turn in night mode which turns the led display off to not be burdensome at night. I have fallen asleep more in the living room maybe because of the cleaner air and my sinuses are less active. We have two dogs and the air cleaner seems to do away with pet dander and smell, always a plus! With the current climate of pandemic and viruses it couldn’t hurt adding an additional layer of protection in the house for the family. I cannot speak towards the effectiveness of the air cleaner for viruses or bacteria, but I would say that it does eliminate them to some degree. I love this machine!

I am a fan of Blue Air and own a 411 which I picked up from Best Buy after we painted a bedroom to help get rid of the paint smell and then bought a few more. The Blueair HealthProtect 7470i is a smart air purifier so it connects via WiFi and there's a (free) app. It also has sensors so it automatically adjusts the fan speed to the air quality which makes it better than the other models. All I can say is Wow. Wow. Wow. First, the Blueair 7470i is quiet. It's as quiet on low speed as the 411 but you also get the germ killing filter. Super impressed. I also happen to own a BlueAir 211+ (larger than the 411) and the the 7470i is quiter than that. While the 7470i is not exactly a small unit, it is slim and kind of looks like an oversized PS5 (ha ha!). There are some watch outs. I had some issues setting up WiFi connectivity with the app but I think that was an issue with my mesh network. When I disabled the mesh it connected and I've had no issues since I turned mesh networking back on. The app has poor reviews but I found no issue - other than a weird bug which is when you set an automated schedule, the top LED lights turn back on full not on what dimming setting you have sent. A little annoying but not a deal breaker. I seriously love this filter. The colored LED lights and smarts show me how much air quality actually gets bad. I didn't realize how often the air from the kitchen (cooking) would come and interfere with the air quality in our living area. That the 7470i automatically increases speeds to clear this is super cool and exactly what you need. I am leaving the Blueair HealthProtect 7470i on all the time. I can smell the air being fresher, it's the best thing you can get and if you suffer allergies, have a pet, or just want to be healthier (especially when so much of us work from home) you have to get this. I'd recommend it to anyone!

When the box arrived, I was impressed with the size. This was much larger than I anticipated but also fit perfectly in my space. I Unboxed and got it set up rather quickly. I wanted this for my main family room in my basement, the largest room in my house where I work from home. I spend 8-10 hours here per day and I needed to be comfortable here. I was really interested in the hepa filter and germ shield mode. I love that It can be set at auto mode to keep air clean. This is extremely important to me during the covid pandemic. The musty smells of the basement are now gone and the air is clear and clean. Another item I like is that it’s really really quiet! I had to keep checking that it’s on and running. I can tell it’s blowing when I get closer, but I just don’t hear it. I also like that this has a thermometer. I’ve been wanting to know the temp in the basement for a while. Now I can see easily in the blueair app. I tried to connect it to alexa, but it’s unable to find it. Not a deal breaker since its app is so efficient and easy to use. So happy I have this to keep my air clean where I work/live most of my waking day. I would absolutely recommend this.

Living in the world that we live in today I am constantly concerned about the well-being of my family and mine. I had previously looked into purchasing an air purifier for a home for some time now, and came across the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i. The 418 Sq.Ft. of coverage is pretty good for this purifier, and I chose to put it in our living room area, which is where we spend most of our time as a family. The initial setup was a breeze using the app. Just download it and link the device by entering your network password. If you decide to use the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i without wifi connectivity, the hand controls are very responsive and you can control it manually. The App lets you monitor air quality and control just about every feature available. You can program a schedule, or just set it on Auto like me, and let the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i do its job. The App also lets you check filter life so you know when it's time to replace the filters. One major plus for me is that it is pretty quiet, even on the highest fan speed level. I can sleep through the sound without any problems. Another big plus is the energy efficient rating, which Blueair claims to be "less than an incandescent lightbulb." That's important to me, as I try to watch energy usage around the house. Another thing that I must mention is the specific statement about the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i not having been tested against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, so if you are purchasing an air purifier for that reason, just be aware of this statement. I really wish that they had tested this purifier for this purpose, and I hope that they do in the future. Until then, I will assume that it does not and continue to take other precautions that I have been doing since before acquiring this Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i . Overall, I am very happy with the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i. I am happy that I added another layer of protection for my family. I would recommend the Blueair - HealthProtect 7470i .
