This headset is shaped like other headsets I have used in the past. As usual, this BlueParrott device is well made, and feels like it will stand up to constant use. Charging is convenient with USB-C, and the BlueParrott android app updated my device to the newest firmware in about 10 minutes. Audio quality is clear, and the on-board mute button is a great feature they included. Pairing and general use is similar to other Bluetooth headsets, so I did not have any issues with initial setup. The headset is also light and comfortable to wear, so this will work great for me around the house.

I would like to say it is good for talking and making phone calls while driving or less active things. Noise canceling works pretty good even in high windy times. Cons are try this out to.aee if it stays in your ear with the different tips they provide. I had a hard time due my ear being between sizes. Med and large. It's very good for battery life also and the ability to switch side are pretty easy. This one I heavy caution to try before you purchase.

Great reception & battery but doesn't seem to have all the bells & whistles that were available on Plantronics Voyager. I still recommend this headset - most users would probably be more than satisfied with this unit.

I think the primary saving grace of this headset is the noise reduction, which BueParrott is known for. But the rest of this device is pretty disappointing. Audio through the earpiece is just too quiet, and when you amp up the volume (as high as you can get it), the output can get a bit distorted and uncomfortable. Audio from the microphone is also not that great: voices sound tinny and mechanical. I'm also not a fan of needing an app just to be able to program the multifunction button. Yes the app also allows you upgrade the firmware...and create an account with BlueParrott if you want....but otherwise the app isn't that useful. The headset borrows a popular form factor yet fails to deliver in overall audio quality for this price range. On the plus side, you can also pair with more than one device and I do appreciate the use of a USB-C plug for charging. But in the end, the audio quality is really not great, making the unit a surprising disappointment.

I had high hopes for this headset after using other models of this brand, but this unit rates zero stars for me on two counts. The first is the volume control. It will not control volume up or down no matter how many times or how hard you press the buttons. I got a real person on my first attempt, but that agent was unable to resolve the issue after multiple attempts and 30 minutes on the phone. I was transferred to level two support where I received a voice message that they would call me back. Four days later and still no call, so I tried calling again and the level 1 person said it was already elevated to level two and I would need to wait for them to call me. This headset is going in the trash and I will never buy this brand in the future!

When I first seen this product, I was excited because I have a similar headset that I use, and I'm always looking to improve for my business. So once I got it I downloaded the app, adjusted the settings, and I was ready to go! I have a lot of calls to my family members, and also other business people. I spoke with my mother, my aunt, and my daughter, and they constantly kept saying they couldn't hear me or I sounded hollow. They also sounded far away from their phones as well. I also spoke to my attorney and it was so bad, I had to disconnect the headset so she could hear me properly. The main complained that I hear from everyone, is how loud the background is, and I sound hollow and far away. I'm assuming because this is a newer headset, that some of this stuff can be corrected with an update. I also updated the firmware before I got started, so that can't be the reason it's not operating correctly. I had to switch back to my prior headset because everyone else I spoke with after that, had issues with hearing me and me hearing them.

I work from home and occasionally have to call people. The call quality is bar none. Used it with a Mac and FaceTime, Zoom, and Skype. Battery life seemed to last all day with no degradation in quality as the battery got low. I have a larger ear and this seemed to fit comfortably.

They need to pair up with Poly (plantronics) and this could be GOLD! PROS: USB C! lightweight LARGE battery! (always a PLUS!) CONS: (Where Plantronics SHINES!) No "Answer or IGNORE" command Caller ID announce ONLY 1 BUTTON! The 5200 has DEDICATED answer/end call and MUTE buttons. Feels cheap and plasticy (The 5200 feels like it has better build quality) If you took the 5200, added the USB C and battery capacity of this one it would be PERFECT! Waiting on one of these two companies to get it right. Currently I am back to my 5200 headset due to the features. I am looking forward to a v2 version of this one.

The ear loop was too big for my ear, it kept tilting over the top of my ear and since it was not adjustable it was returned to the store….otherwise it might would have worked. It fits my husband ear just fine but not mine.

I have been using this for several weeks in the context of hour-long client meetings. Paired with an iPhone, the sound is more clear and crisp via FaceTime audio than it is with a general call, however, calls do sound fine as well. I have heard from callers that my voice is particularly loud and clear with this device in comparison to other headsets I've used, the speakerphone, and even simply using the phone directly.

This device had a great fit, sound quality. The unfortunate downside was 2 days of enjoying it I had car problems in cold weather and somehow misplaced it as I addressed repairs. This is where the Plantronics product is unique because it is equipped with a noise function to locate the device. My error not theirs.

    BAD VOLUME

This is my second purchase in one year. The volume goes out after three months of use. I am now having to purchase another headset. The design is sleek and it has a comfortable around my ear. I thought the problem at first was the fact that I bought a defective unit. Then I realized that the second purchase is just as defective as the first one. I trust BlueParrot because of the hype in the trucking industry and through my other purchases but this time its a NO GO!!! I would highly recommend otherwise. I can't hear the other party and then they sometimes can't hear me.

The reason I gave this one star is because I couldn't give it no stars. The microphone is awful. People can't hear you. You sound muffled and faint. Words cut out at the beginning or end of a sentence. Don't waste your money on this.

This headset has proved to be reliable. 4 stars rather than 5 because the mute button is directly outside the ear bud part so if you wear it loosely and push the ear bud in to hear a call it mutes the mike. Instructions were not really clear to me. I have not run it long enough to test the battery life.

I took mine back and got another Pantronic. Couldn't hear on it even with volume turned to max. I think blue parrot needs to stick with the over the head ones like my B450XT II. This one works great and you can hear great!!! Even in loud places.
