I got the Blue Parrot Pro B350 for two reasons. My office has 2 computer servers in it along with several NAS units. The fan noise is quite annoying, especially while on phone calls. Because of this I often go out to "my phone booth" in my backyard. The problem here is my pool pump, A/C and birds. Yes, birds. I have a huge tree with hundreds of nesting birds. They are constantly chirping. I had high hopes for this headset, which claims to block 98% of background noise. A big plus for me is they only cover one ear, which makes them lighter and they offer 40 hours of talk time. I've used a BlueParrot desktop mic for podcasts for several years, and have always been happy with it. So the BT350 Pro was worth a try. I wanted a better phone booth. Installing the Blue Parrot app was very simple. Getting the B350 to pair was very easy. I charged them fully, and updated their firmware when I first got the B350 connected to my iPhone, the update took 4-5 minutes. There is no instruction manual in the box, but from the app the provided instructions are excellent and walk you through the app's various pages. There I found my favorite feature, Voice Control. You can say "answer" or "ignore" to take a call or to skip one. On a call you can say "hang up", to drop a connected call. You can say "Louder" to turn up the volume. And you can say "mute"/"unmute" to control the microphone. This makes the headset really hands free. The other feature I found useful is you can push the mic boom up to also mute the call, and pull it down to unmute. This physical switch helps you to remember if the call is muted. Until I actually used this, I didn't realize how convenient it was. The real test is my office and back yard. I called my wife from my office, not telling her where I was. When I told her after a few minutes she was quite surprised, where is the fan noise. I then walked out my backdoor to my pool area. And again she said she could not hear the A/C, pool or birds over her phone. She said she could still hear birds outside from her seat in the window. But they were not coming from over the phone. She was impressed. So was I. I wore the headset for a few hours making and taking multiple calls. Very convenient, very quiet. I then went and sat in front of the television, the person I was talking to could not tell I had it on. The only thing I found disappointing, is when the headset is charging it will not connect to Bluetooth while charging. Their website says it will lose Bluetooth when you start charging, but that you should be able to reconnect; I did not find that to be the case (w/firmware 1.4.0). It could be something they can fix. But as I tested it the headset does not support BT when charging. Given it has 40h of charge, this is not really that big of a deal, just a minor inconvenience. I found my better phone booth!

BlueParrott Pro B350. My office can be at home or on the road. That means I’m often on the phone. It didn’t take long for me to realize that comfort is everything. That comfort I want includes a gentle, light touch on my ears and head, reliable clarity for voices, and fuss-free call management. The BlueParrott head gear does all this and more. SETUP: BlueParrott’s headphones connect quickly, and rely on an app for initial setup of a variety of parameters. These include noise-cancellation, enabling voice controls, voice notifications, second device connection, and battery level. Typically these are set-and-forget once, so you aren’t dependent on the app until you change your mind. An unusual feature is Sound Check. You can be sure you are intelligible in your conversation after you record your voice, and play it back with this feature. You are able to verify voice level and the impact of the noise reduction. It’s a great feature. The box includes the headset, a USB Charging Cable, a Mic Windscreen, and an extra Foam Ear Cushion. No charging brick. This a a well thought out package. PERFORMANCE and SUMMARY: Using the B350 headphones for extended periods is a more pleasant experience than either in-ear buds or heavy headphones clamped to my head. My ears tolerate in-ear buds rather well, but beyond an hour begins to hurt. I love over-the-ear, but they are not practical if I need to move around. The BlueParrott Pro B350 has solved the comfort and usability issues for those of us who have to be readily accessible. For extensive use in a vehicle they add an element of safety. The single soft ear cup and the metal band that sits on my head prove to be exceptionally light. That, combined with the overall light weight, makes it very easy to grab in a vehicle, and slip onto my head. Noise Cancellation is very effective, and the AI Voice Isolation appears to contribute to a very clear conversation. I tested this feature by calling from my noisy laundry room. The call recipient was unaware of the background rumble. Road noise would be similarly suppressed. Bluetooth® range was extended, and a non-issue for all of my calls. I could use my phone assistant to answer and reject calls. Battery life was also quite long, with the promised 40 hours possibly attainable. There is an extra, customizable BlueParrott Button™, which you can assign to one feature you want easy access to. This is a well thought out, purpose built, successful headphone for anyone who insists on a healthy, comfortable, easy-to-use, and reliable communication tool. You’ll forget why your day was less aggravating, but the BlueParrott Pro B350 might have contributed. Recommended.

Grabbed this for my desk actually. So a slightly different use than my mobile. I use this for bluetooth connection when on conference calls and want some wireless ability. And it did the trick! setup on my laptop was extremely easy. Same was with phone, go to bluetooth and scan. Picked up immediately. Performed the connection and done. The device just works! power, volume +/- and bluetooth connect buttons are all there. Physical buttons and not touch. Which i really like. i charged the device once opened and haven't recharged it yet. Been using for 4 days now and several long conference call sessions. Still going! Head band is adjustable and has a nice grab. its not tight nor does it press. Its snug and secure. I'm not doing jumping jacks or anything. But its comfortable and doesn't slip around. It appears to be metal so should withstand some wear and tear over time. The boom is plastic but can be maniuplated to be near the mouth but not touching. Good degree of up/down adjustment in the headset as well. Performance is great. Nice and clear volume and plenty loud. Even if you are in a noisy area. The unit does have some noise cancellation and filtering. I have received no feedback about background noise from any participants on my calls. I was able to move several rooms over from my laptop (about 200ft) and eperience no audio drop. The ear piece is an over the ear cuff. But there is a foam on ear that you can add if you prefer. The unit is light weight coming in at 4.2 oz or 0.2625 lbs on my scale.
