Jack White delivers a knockout performance on his debut solo album. Many different styles throughout the CD, all blend together for an absolutely awesome experience. I love "I'm Shakin'".

Catchy, calm, and chaotic, this album is attention deficit in auditory doses. Littered with echoed shades of his past bands, everything here is pure Jack White, tying his unmistakable vocals and guitar to a sporadic cadence and eclectic blend of styles. Bursting with quirk, Jack eagerly explores a range of instruments with a sound that goes from sleazy guitar wails and brutally metaphoric lyrics of scorned love to calming, introspective tunes, sometimes in the same song. Being a loose fan of The White Stripes, I found more here to love, particularly in the frantic tones of the earlier tracks, but the transition into the late album did feel a bit jarring, particularly as Jack falls back into a more retro sound. All in all, this is an apropos debut for Jack's solo career, and this is one man who works best when granted the freedom to explore his art.

Blunderbuss is an amazing album. I was never a huge Jack White fan but I heard a couple of the tracks on XM so I decided to purchase the CD. It has not left the CD player since. The music, lyrics and production are all outstanding. One of the best albums I have heard in years. It should be up for a Grammy.

Great first solo album by Jack White...reminds me a lot of Jimmy Page. Can't wait for Lazzaretto to come out.

Jack White has a great lyrical ability and singing voice. Our whole family enjoys listening to him.

Jack is my hero. Every single thing he touches becomes brilliant. As if white stripes, dead weather, and raconteurs weren't enough, now he does a solo album and it's equally (if not more) mind-blowing. Then he takes it a step further and launches it via 1,000 helium balloons of special vinyl editions! Like i mentioned before, EVERY SINGLE THING HE TOUCHES IS BRILLIANT!!

Its jack white all the way. If your a fan, you will truly appreciate this album. I love everything he does as a musician. For those who are skeptical, i recommend giving it a try.

I like Jack White. If you like his music thus far you should buy this album.

Not comparable to white stripes material but decent overall
