A great show comes to an end with just a decent ending. Since HBO only gave Boardwalk 8 episodes for its final season, everything seems rushed. Potential is there but doesn't quite make it. Still a great show and high quality Blu-ray.

I missed the last season of Boardwalk Empire on Cable TV. I was excited to find it in BestBuy and on sale. I snapped it right up!

Boardwalk Empire is my second all time favorite HBO series after Sopranos. Season 5 is the final season of the show and it was awesome.

Steve Buscemi is excellent in this series as is the supporting cast. done well as a period piece. I learned some history from this.

Great story. Last season started a little slow but they did a lot of flash back stuff. Still kept my interest up in the story

While not all characters in the series are historical it is still an interesting and entertaining look into this time period.

Boardwalk Empire Season 5 does a great job of explaining what happens to your favorite characters. I found it entertaining and my only complaint is there are only 8 episodes so it seems like the series concludes quickly.

With the final season, we delve into Thompson's childhood. All of the plotlines are tied up and everything comes full circle.

One of HBO's best series that ended too soon. Tells the story about the American mafia from the beginning.

This is a great final finale to a fantastic show, although it was too expensive considering the truncated length of the season.

While it wasn't the best of the series, season five of Boardwalk Empire is a solid finish to one of HBO's best shows. I like that this set also offers a digital copy of the entire series so I can watch wherever I go.
