Lives up to it's name
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this for about 3 weeks, use it on mostly wood floor but with some area rugs. Overall area is probably 800-900sq ft or so. Have 2 dogs, 1 of which sheds a good bit. Run it every other day or so. So far it does a decent job picking up dog hair and dirt on the wood floor and most of the rugs. The floor does look clean after the robot runs. Runs for 60-75 minutes before it needs a charge. Pretty easy to clean and maintain. Remote control is nice, you can also steer it to where you want it to clean. Downside- it can get stuck under some pieces of furniture and sometimes struggles to transition from wood floor to rug, so I would be home when it runs to keep an eye on it. Overall it does a good job, keeps the house looking clean, and saves time and energy.

bOb needs a battery
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an older relative to this unit Christmas 2016/2017. Cosmetically it doesn't appear to be too radically updated. I jumped on a deal of the day for sister model bObi, but it's one of the very few I regret. Maybe they're address some of my issues with this model. After initial purchase, my family and I loved watching bObi sweep under the sofa. Unfortunately he's unable of mapping the environment like other manufacturers products, and found him constantly bumping into things, knocking over corner table lamps, vases, and guitars, sucking up iPhone charger cords, etc. We learned to adjust our cleaning behavior before he ran but still found him stuck under the lip on our kitchen cabinets, We'd let him clean beyond the return window, but after a month or two of having to babysit him, it's just easier for me to run the old fashioned vacuum. When I tried to show him off to a friend asking if they wanted to adopt bOb, he no longer functions, battery stays dead even after a charge. This technology is still a year or two from being really useful at sub $200 price points I believe. If you're attached to the idea, then research more advanced models. PROS -------- + fun to show off Jetson's like technology + bOb does what he claims + he gets up a lot of pet hair and dander + he is much quieter than I expected + acceptable build quality CONS --------- - does not map the house - user required to prep the environment (or keep it bOb friendly) - falls down stairs if basement door left open - sucks up iPhone charging cables - knocks things over, protect your valuables - you're best to keep track of which room he's in, sometimes he gets stuck and just burns out spinning his wheels - garbage bin is too small and needs to be emptied mid-clean

Very good vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with this purchase being out first robotic vacuum. It is a little louder than our neighbor’s shark robotic vacuum, but ours was less expensive. I really like that you can program it to start at a particular time of the day so it can be on a schedule. I also like that it can mop too, although it is like a swiffer mop, but still keeps me from having to do it. The directions say it will run an hour off a single charge, but I’m seeing ours go at least and hour and a half on each charge!! This has made my life much easier!! You will have to pick up certain things that it can get hung up on and it will get hung up in tight spots, but it simply turns off and waits for you to correct the problem.

Good robot vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very happy with my bbObsweep pet vacuum. It has a large dust pin and does a good job of picking up the pet hair. The only thing that I would comment on is that it takes it a long time to find it's charging station sometimes which maybe I don't have it set up in the correct space, but he does eventually find it. He runs for a long time on a single charge. I like the little extra side brush to help pick up dirt and pet hair.

Bob is Powerful!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our family were already owners of the smaller version Bobsweep Pethair robot (Bobi) and were very happy with her performance. So I was intrigued when I learned Bobsweep had come out with a bigger robot vacuum. We recently have been using this newer, bigger Bobsweep Pethair robotic vacuum (Bob) and wow! Bob can hold a lot more in his storage bin than Bobi so it's nice that we aren't having to empty as often. Bobi occasionally gets hung up on a shaggy area rug that we have in our livingroom. Bob powers over the rug with no issues. I chose the "champagne" color and I think it looks really classy. We set up our Christmas tree this past week and Bob is doing a fantastic job of picking up pine needles and glitter from the decorations.

Good Outweighs the Bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing picks up a full bin of cat hair, dirt, dust, and debris every day. It was easy to set up. It also gets both carpet and tile floors. The remote works well. The bad is that it does not learn where not to go. It regularly rides up on the fireplace base as well as gets stuck in the bathroom. I am still happy with the purchase and continue to use this every day.

It does a good job picking up dust and pet hair
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my bObsweep vacuum. As a pet owner its challenging to keep a pet hair free environment but with Bob I just charge him up and let him do his job. The floors look clean after he sweeps/vacuums and I don't see a lot of dust particles floating around in the air anymore even when the furnace is running. He does get stuck on the threshold sometimes when going into different rooms so I only run him when I'm there to give him a little push when needed. Other than that bOb works very well and I am pleased with my purchase.

Great addition to our home.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We welcomed Bob into our home immediately. He is a busy guy. Bobsweep does a wonderful job keeping the floors clean. When he was first learning the layout of our home, he kept getting stuck under a chair in the living room. We tried to let him find his way out, but ended up having to assist. When you purchase a Bobsweep, you can download the app. The app is helpful because you can teach Bob where he is allowed to go and not allowed to go by clipping areas or if the floor plan after he's found the lady out. A bonus peek is watching the cat interact with the vacuum.

AWESOME
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My hubby LOVES this thing. Loves it. We've had it for four days now and he runs it at least twice a day just to watch it do it's thing and then head back to the charger. "I LOVE IT!" each time it rolls back to its charger. We're both disabled and sweeping floors is a challenge. We haven't done the mop part cuz we doubt it'll be worth the trouble to switch out pads. We have two cats and there's always plenty of cat hair in the bin.

Overall very good, but needs to be watched
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very impressed with the quality of the bobsweep considering the very low price. It is very good at picking up pet hair - even the hair that my upright vacuum misses. It requires much less maintenance (cleaning the collection container) than does my upright. But it does require some monitoring while vacuuming the carpet. It does sometimes get stuck and cannot free itself. It is very good at manually controlling the movement, but then again that defeats the purpose of an automated vacuum. This is my first automated vacuum, and I like it a lot. In the future, I will purchase a "smarter" vacuum, but for now, I am very happy with the cleaning (vacuuming) results).

Fantastic Vacuum
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my BobSweep on Black Friday. I cannot believe I did without one of these for so long. I remember back when they first came out but they were so expensive, I could not afford. Now, I just LOVE IT. I have a German Shepherd and lots of hair all over the place so that I have had to vacuum every other day with my Dyson Pet Vacuum. I turned Bob on after using my regular vacuum and it picked up gobs of additional hair. Could not believe it, then I used the mop wetted down with Pine Sol and it did an outstanding job of cleaning. I use "Bob" every day since I have all tile floors and they are so clean, I can't believe it. Bob moves over my few rugs with no problem and the remote is great to use and even my dog loves it. I just love it. You will too.

Cleans Well, Gets Stuck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.device cleans really well but it is always getting stuck under the cabinets, dressers, etc. - keep having to re-direct the device. If it had a lower clearing it would be fantastic.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bobsweep does a great job on the floors. It is a little loud, so not able to run during work conference calls if you work from home. The only real complaint is that while it can find its home base when directed, it does not recognize its home base when sweeping around it, and ends up running into/over it and pushing it around, which is a little annoying.

Loud cumbersome and not a mop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Ecovac debit that was half the Brice, quieter, you can use you physical me to control it.. 1st bob not a mop More like a wiper, no means of distributing liquid. It has velcro for a pad, It is so much louder than my Ecovac deebot It is taller so it can’t get under stuff The title is misleading so not a mop Gets hung up on everything Can’t use your phone to control, by cheapie debit does To say I’m disappointed is an understatement

Doesn't last. Don't be cheap like me!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You get what you pay for. I am cheap and I realize that I got what I paid for. It seemed like a really great deal since it was about 50% off. However, I think the regular price should have been 50% off and maybe it would be a decent deal. After less than a year, the charging station wasn't charging my vacuum. I have to manually plug it into the unit itself. As for the performance, it did well cleaning my 1300 sq ft home even with all the cat and dog hair. But because the base charger stopped working, it's not so convenient. I have to charge it every day so it will work every day. The convenience of setting a schedule to work on its own is no longer possible.
