I feel like when youre pating more for a 4k movie your digital copy should also reedeem in 4k. Also, the code inly redeems in Vudu. Where is the option for iTunes? This is severly disapoonting because i was excited for this movie to come out and i held off from buying through itunes. Shady and sneaky.

HD for digital, which like many I paid for 4K so I expected a 4K code. Especially with their being UHD on Vudu… Disc looks excellent in 4K though so no complaints there.

Overpriced garbage. Good to watch once. Pete Davidson dies off fast. Rest of movie in dark mode. Not worth $30+ for a 4k. Not a great movie. A lot of sjw signaling

If you like a movie with a bunch of entitled twits whining throughout this is for you. The only redeeming quality was the ending twist that got one chuckle out of me.

One of the Funniest Horror Comedies

A delightful send up of Gen Z. Director Halina Reijn’s slasher horror-comedy mystery Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) is one of the funniest movies of the year! Reijn’s brings an intriguing mystery that kept me guessing until the very end. Reijn’s direction uses darkness and shadows to enshroud her mystery to allow every character to run around this manor in secret all night to ensure we could suspect anyone. Reijn does a fun job of directing Bodies Bodies Bodies to make it playful in tone and atmospheric for the horror. The pouring rain from the hurricane in the background, the isolating forest backdrop, no Wi-fi service to call for help, no lights with the power out, and no cars to escape all create a scary horror scenario. She had me enjoying the silly humor and social critiques, while looking for all the subtle hints and character clues. Bodies Bodies Bodies is an absolute pleasure to watch the anxiety inducing encounters and laugh along with the unhinged chaos of each vicious accusation. Writers Kristen Roupenian and Sarah DeLappe weave a neat horror tale of awful, inconsiderate friends that do not trust each other and shove them into a mansion together during a hurricane. They prey upon their own fears and distrust, manipulating their toxic personalities. I appreciate Roupenian and DeLappe calling out socially unaware rich kids for their spoiled narcissism and cruel jabs at people that are supposed to be their friends. They’re all terrible people and fascinatingly shallow and self-absorbed characters. It’s kind of cool seeing a horror movie that unabashedly loathes all its characters. I found their subversion of expectations for the slasher horror genre a refreshing take on endless set-ups of clues and potential killers among this group of morally bankrupt teenagers. Bodies Bodies Bodies is very interesting. Maria Bakalova is adorable, intriguing, and lovable as Sophie’s quiet lesbian girlfriend Bee. I found her charming and endearing as Bee since she’s obviously insecure around Sophie’s friends, who she does not know or their outrageous drug consuming and alcohol drinking lifestyle. Maria Bakalova is very cute with her lovely accent and shy personality, while also being funny and cool in Bodies Bodies Bodies as horror heroine Bee. I thought she was the most sympathetic girl besides Rachel Sennott’s aloof Alice. Bakalova is a comedic and dramatic talent, who also bravely charges forth into horror here. Maria Bakalova is beautiful with a pretty face and captivating eyes besides her skillful versatility as an actress. I hope she continues to get lead actress roles like Bodies Bodies Bodies. Amandla Stenberg is great as Sophie in Bodies Bodies Bodies. She’s super inconsiderate and suspicious as Sophie. How she’ll silently side with others or insecurely lean on others for help, while never once defending her girlfriend had me suspicious of her intentions. Myha'la Herrold is unhinged as the paranoid, accusatory, and jealous girl Jordan. She’s intense, curious, and immediately suspicious with her slandering the other girls and questioning everyone’s intentions. You could feel her judgments and jealousy with each disgusted glare and hateful declaration towards her friends. Herrold is impressively deranged as the immediately accusatory Jordan. Rachel Sennott steals the show as the bubbly, dumb, but earnest fool Alice. Her smile is infectious and her playful party girl vibe is compelling. I felt sad for her during the funny lambasting of Alice’s podcast. Sennott had me laughing at all of her Gen Z jokes and slang with a sheer brilliant line delivery that’s simultaneously shallow and sincere. She’s unreal hot and flirty with a vibrant personality and effortless sense of humor. After loving Rachel Sennott in Shiva Baby and Bodies Bodies Bodies, I hope her career as an actress takes off with more memorable lead parts like Shiva Baby alongside magnetic charming character acting like Bodies Bodies Bodies. Lee Pace is fantastic as Alice’s handsome vet boyfriend Greg. He seems like the coolest friend you could have that is down to party, play games, and chill in the face of adversity. I felt sorry that none of the ladies listened to Greg when he was telling the truth. Lee Pace is gigantic and intimidating with his height, but he comes across like a loving boyfriend, prepared survivor, and overall chill dude. Lee Pace is one of the most fun characters in Bodies Bodies Bodies right alongside the effervescent Rachel Sennott. Chase Sui Wonders is excellent as the selfish actress Emma. I felt bad for how she’s treated, but she’s also a vapid liar and narcissist among this group of so-called friends. Pete Davidson is a total jerk as a completely insecure, cruel spoiled brat named David. He’s as idiotic and disgusting as you can imagine. Davidson’s David is such a mean, manipulative, rude, and judgemental boyfriend to Emma that I felt bad for her. I was not sure I’d enjoy him in Bodies Bodies Bodies, but he fits the gross, toxic character of David exactly to a type. Conner O'Malley gets a cameo at the end as Max in a great subversion of the Red Herring trope. Editors Julia Bloch and Taylor Levy slam through scenes with a brisk pacing for a fast feeling 94 minutes of investigating and accusing others in this secluded mansion. Each scene of finding a body or searching for a killer blend into one another smoothly for a continuous feel. Production designer April Lasky’s sets do up this lavish forest mansion with beautiful designs that allow for the girls to move freely around long hallways and open rooms. Elise H. Clark-Johnson’s set decoration has fancy furniture and an open floor plan to allow for easy movement of everyone to up the suspense. Luke Green’s art direction has a slick Spring Breakers party aesthetic for a very contemporary feel to Bodies Bodies Bodies. This movie would be a blast to play with friends at a party. Cinematographer Jasper Wolf leans into the pretty wide shots that can let a people appear from no one suddenly or walk around creepily in darkness. Wolf’s smooth camera work is enthralling. His clever use of iphone lights to light the pitch black scenes is really clever for a modern horror film. I appreciate all the striking close-up shots that are so intimate and claustrophobic to the eerie medium shots following the ladies around the house in the dark. I love the close-ups that reveal a girl’s emotions whether they’re afraid or suspicious in that moment. I must mention the adorable neon glow stick necklaces and bracelets on Rachel Sennott’s Alice. Costume designer Katina Danabassis’ use of party gear, survival gear, and cute modern shirts and shorts are very pretty and clever. I liked all the neat outfits that look like fits girls wear now. Make-up artists Lani Barry, Melanie Licata, and Sara Graalman ensure each lady looks gorgeous with cute looks and that the two guys look greasy and unappealing. That is to say Pete Davidson looks terrible as always and they gave Lee Pace a more casual surfer look instead of his usual handsome refined appearance. Their bloody wound make-up works well. Visual effects artists Craig Crawford and Jeremy Beadell’s bloody kills are effective and look realistic. Composer Rich Vreeland’s eerie score is really dark and unsettling. His moody synths sound like an organ with a gentle melody in the backdrop. I adored Disasterpeace’s synth score for It Follows, so hearing his incredible music chime in during Bodies Bodies Bodies is awesome. The hyper pop soundtrack with Slayyyter and Charli XCX brings pulsing bops to the speakers and perfectly fits Bodies Bodies Bodies’ party vibe. I wish more modern movies would use fun pop songs in the soundtrack. Sound designers Mariusz Glabinski, Luciano Vignola, and Chris Liang’s craft ambient noises during the quiet segments in the manor, then burst the noise to life for a swing of a blade or music getting played for the party guests to dance along to with each other. In all, Bodies Bodies Bodies needs to be seen for all the modern social commentary making fun of overly sensitive Generation Z kids and their social media obsessions and pseudo self-care knowledge. The mystery is unpredictable chaos and the characters are really fun to watch rave and rage against one another. Bodies Bodies Bodies is certainly going to remain on my end of the year list of favorites.

not the worst, not the best tho

Not the worst, not the best tho. A lot of dislikable characters. And this starts heavy with a lesbian relationship, which isn't everyone's cup of tea. There are lot better films out there than this. I'd look elsewhere to be honest. I was expecting a much better film and Pete Davidson is kind of an idiot.
