This is pretty tense…..not completely perfect….but very tense stuff

Can two movie stars share the screen and yet not distract from one another's performance? They can when its gladiator excellence Russell Crow and good ol' Jack Lenardo Decaprio from titanic rolled into play with Ridley Scott. Don't hesitate to sit back dim the lights and press play as these two masterfully play out a suspenseful action drama that will keep you entertained!!

I've purchased this twice and both times it did not come with a digital copy. If you do happen to get the movie, and it has the digital copy, the code should be expired. DON'T WORRY! Save the code redemption sheet, the movie AND your receipt. Contact "Warners Brothers Digital Copy" and fill out a code request form. It takes 5 days for them to respond. They'll want pictures of "the movie, movie case (front and back), code redemption sheet and your receipt". Save all of these because its the only way you get a new code. Again, the movie is 5/5 stars but the ACTUAL product is only 2/5 because it is not shipped with the redemption codes.

I was not able to see the film in the theater. I had read the reviews. So, I was NOT sure what to expect. ONE THING I HAVE HATED ABOUT THE MARKETING OF THE FILM. CREDIT FOR ACTORS….I'm sorry but should NOT the Oscar winner get top billing over the Oscar nominee? Leo got top billing over Russell just because of "The Nudie Boat Movie"? This was a big mistake. The film is good. Not great. Russell did his usual good job with his role. Once again playing a character older & larger (he had to put on weight again like he did in "The Insider"). All Leo does is be angry, yell & curse. I did expect more with this 2 disc DVD package. Commentary from Ridley & a couple of writers. NO actor commentary. Russell should have been there, remember he & Ridley have now worked together 4 times. Just no real special extras on this except for the digital copy disc. Only good to input for a year after DVD release. Then, another credit problem. When you read the back the DVD they credit Ridley with "American Gangster" & "Black Hawk Down". How about "Blade Runner", a little Best Picture & Actor winner "Gladiator", "Alien" etc. No chapter list sheet inside. A good film I want to say again.

To be honest, I was expecting this movie to be pretty boring but it kept my interest throughout. Not a big DiCaprio or Crowe fan, but they both give remarkable performances. Ridley Scott is one of the best directors, every scene is perfect. The ending was a bit weak for my taste, but everyone has their own opinion.

3 of 5 stars for the gritty drama movie Body of Lies. The lead role is played by Leonardo DiCaprio who does a great job playing a deep undercover CIA spy in the middle east. The plot is rather complex and I don't think I could summarize it easily. The focus is on middle east terrorism and a couple of groups making plans. The movie was expansively photographed with a rich selection of locations. Since the story jumps from country to country (Jordan, Turkey, USA, etc) they did a nice job of giving a look to each place. There are some action scenes which are good. Some brutal torture scenes and a fair amount of blood. The movie seemed long and its pace slow at times. All-in-all, I did enjoy it and do recommend it.

Body Of Lies is one of the better movies of 2008. This movie has an excellent plot and plenty of action sequences. Leonardo DiCaprio does a great job acting in this movie. I thought this movie was very similar to SYRIANA which was also a great movie but Body of Lies might be even better. If you liked SYRIANA you will also like this amazing spy thriller.

Good movie, but long. I thought the plot was great, good acting, but as a female, I would enjoy less war stuff.

This film is an excellent portrayal of what some people have to go through to protect ours and other peoples freedoms but also shows you how people in the goverment abuse the power they are given.

I enjoyed the movie in the theatre, enjoyed reading the book. Listening to the commentary over the movie helped sort out the muddled plot in the last quarter of the movie. I was very disappointed in the extras. Sir Ridley Scott is one of the five best directors working today on anybody's list. That's nothing new. The interviews with him and the comments about him from the producer and others shed no light on BoL. The small segment on Morocco was boring; I fell asleep during it. Ignatius' stories were repeated during the voiceover commentary. The few extras were not worth the extra price.

Geat CIA/Middle East movie! Excellent story! It is a must see movie! I would recommend it for everyone that likes action movies!

If you like action movie, this is the one to get.
