However, my phone is broken. I sill need to assess the damage. The case itself did not protect my phone as it stated on the package.

Excellent Product

Now, I've used this in many many outdoor walks with absolutely no problem. Trick is to make sure the ends of the release buttons are pushed together towards the center and the mechanism clicks into place.
