The TiVo unit was a great buy along with the TiVo minis. We couldn't be happier with the set up.

Faster interface with 4K picture, and the Tivo OS is by far the best DVR UI I've used. Fantastic entertainment hub.

This product completes my entertainment center. It allows me to have access to all media from one single console and is the base for other mini tuners throughout the house. Great product!

I first real tv recorder was a Sony BetaMax TV with a BetaMax in the same cabinet. The year was 1978. WOW! How that technology has changed and definitely improved. I love it !

Replaced my Verizon hardware with TIVO. NEVER going back. Saving money on hardware charges, will be equal in a few more months. Excellent features!!!

Brought my bolt in May 2017 and have 4 different boxes to date because the hard drive failed in each box. TiVo knows the issue exists but hasn’t resolved it as of yet.

Multiple issues, had many TiVo units in the past; TiVo Romeo Pro the last and worked flawlessly. After "upgrade" to Bolt plus incorrect error messages about just inserting cable card and unit freezing, Comcast app to use on demand not available on 4 new TiVo minis I bought. TiVo unable to help!!!! This is nauseating, big bucks for new unit, big bucks for lifetime subscription at least 15-20 calls to TiVo tech support and NOTHING!! No help, units that freeze and no on demand. Bad, bad, bad! P.S. had professional installation due to location of wall mounted TV units, installation was done correctly!

Hands down the best DVR on the planet. Onepass and the Tivo iOS app are terrific, Guide is awesome, Skipmode is the best thing since sliced bread. Why only a two star rating? Because this box fails as a 4K streaming device. The Bolt differentiates itself from previous versions with the ability to stream 4K content. It works for Netflix and Youtube but not much else. I was hoping to watch Amazon Prime 4K content but I can't. Vudu has a bunch of 4K UHD titles that I cannot watch using this 4K "Unified Entertainment System". That is pure marketing BS by Tivo and a major disappointment on a product with an ultra premium price tag. I thought I could get rid of my Roku for 4K content but boy was I wrong. Guidance from Tivo regarding future HDR capabilities would be helpful but customer service reps don't know what HDR is.

The bolt+ has a major issue with its HDMI. It won't always display signal sent from the tv. In order to get it working you need to unpliug and plug in again the HDMI cable pretty much every time you sit down to watch live tv or a recorded show. I even replaced the HDMI cable but it didn't solver anything. Customer Support at TiVo won't acknowledge the problem and just asks you to reboot the box. Once rebooted it works once and then they hang up on you claiming you are fixed. I did a little research and saw others had the same issue. It may work fine with your television. Personally, its too much money for me to roll the dice had I known.
