Great customer service and I would recommend the TiVo for anybody who would like free TV

This is my third Tivo and I bought it for my home office. I figured when I bought the Tivo that I would not watch that much TV on it so I opted for the smaller memory. Within a couple of weeks I had already purchased the memory expander. The reason for my 4 star review is two fold - 1. the unit hums constantly- audible in the room if the sound is off on the TV. I have gotten used to it, but it is still rather annoying. The other reason for my less than 5 star review is that you are forced to purchase the Tivo memory expander which only comes in a 1TB maximum size. I had hoped to transfer recordings from my Living room Tivo to save them on my office Tivo and if I did I would run out of space rather quickly. Overall I am quite satisfied with the unit just a few minor complaints keep me from awarding 5 stars.

My wife and I have been wanting to ditch the Comcast box for a long time, and when we found ourselves with some Best Buy gift cards... it seemed like a no-brainer. Tivo has AWESOME customer support, which is necessary... because Comcast is worthless when it comes to setting up one of THEIR cable cards in a Tivo box. The box is much more intuitive than the Xfinity box, and the "skip" mode will become your favorite thing as soon as you use it. My wife and I don't have a lot of "spare" time to watch TV, so having our favorite shows record automatically, and then being able to skip the commercial breaks with one button press... AWESOME! On a side note, where Comcast charges you a monthly fee for additional TV's, Tivo will sell you an extra box for a flat fee... with no monthly costs. Which translates into substantial savings if you have multiple TV's around the house.

TiVo Bolt is a great device w/ a great user experience. Cannot recommend enough!

This is my fifth TiVo unit going back 20 years or so and this is the best one ever! The one touch commercial skip is fabulous. The TiVo app is the best I have ever used. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Makes getting rid of cable or satellite so simple and still gives you those great features. One think I wish it did was make it a bit easier with Plex to help access and search for those movies without having to go to the Plex app.

This is my 2nd TIVO - at first I thought the design was a bit quirky, but it seems to operate cooler, and since I set it on top of my Blue Ray player, both seem to run cooler. It was a snap to set up.

Great product easy to setup. However, if you have time warner cable you are required to have a tuning adapter and a cable card kind of silly. But after setup great quality.

I bought this to get rid of comcast Dvr and it has worked great. It can either work with a cable card or with antenna. Records and finds shows for me as well as puts Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and others all in the same place for one stop shopping. Nice

The TiVo bolt is a great alternative to the standard issue cable box. Even with the monthly fee it's cheaper than what the cable company would charge for their DVR service. I love the interface.

The TiVo Bolt is the best TiVo experience so far. They have improved the menus, added streaming and built in wifi so this is one box that can do it all when it comes to your TV watching experience.

Kick expensive cable equipment rentals to the curb. Plenty of space to record, and one interface to rule them all (cable, Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc.). Paired with minis, run your home TV choices unfettered from the cable companies ancient tech.

Added Tivo Bolt to simplify use of antenna programs. Works perfectly.

The new 4k option is great, just watch out it has "resolution not supported" on Vizio TV's but you just change input back and forth on the TV and it comes back up.

I have used Tivo since it first came out. I have tried other DVRs but Tivo is the best. The Tivo bolt is the best unit yet that they have come out with. It has made my Roku obsolete.

Tivo is a product that is needed if you want to cut the cord.

Personally I’ve tried other dvrs from the cable company and dish and directv. TiVo is hands down the winner but you do have a monthly fee. To me it’s worth it for the ease of use and featured

This is my third TIVO. Set up was easy and it works like a charm. I wasn't sure about the unique look of the device, but it looks great in my living room. Skipmode is a wonderful new feature and the remote remains one of the best.
