Being friends with most of the cast and crew has made this movie my all-time favorite. I have watched it 144 times in theatres with each release and over 850 times on blu-ray and dvd and digital

This cult classic movie is a joy to watch. "And Shepherds we shall be For Thee my Lord, for Thee Power hath descended forth from Thy hand Our feet may swiftly carry out Thy commands. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patri, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti."

The boys were awesome, the story is great. The outtakes are very funny. Great cast too.

I have watched this movie in theatre 35 times. Then watched the dvd 450 times till it came out on blu-ray. I have now watched it every day since it first came out on Blu-ray for 5 years and continue to watch it there and on digital. You cannot go wrong with this or with the sequel

I have bought this from here and Wal-mart and from other stores have also bought alot of the spec. ed for gits this is a must see movie i was also at the 10th Anniversary party in L.A. and had a great time got autographs and pictures with the cast from both Movies buy it and watch it with a big group of friends

This movie is amazing! It's a great cult hit. It has drama, action, and humor all cleverly woven together. I love this movie and highly recommend it to everyone, except for minors.

I love this movie. I’ve loved it from the first time I watched it years ago. It’s always entertaining and a great movie to watch on st Patrick’s day eve. Haha

This movie is a fantastic action unlike anything else ore out my 1st copy, bought it again. Not many movies that I could say that about.

Who would'nt love this movie. Great movie about guys who punish the people who do wrong to others. Great fun movie with excellent actors.

Good packaging and much better resolution than dvd. Loved watching this movie before and definitely love watching the movie in blu ray.

This movie had the sad history of being blackballed in the United States due to the incident at Columbine. This is a real shame, because the film is a treasure. Written and directed by Troy Duffy, Boondocks is set in Boston--story of fraternal twin Irish boys (Connor and Murphy McManus) who work in a meat packing plant. When their friend, Doc, is being stiff armed by the Russian Mafia, the boys and their friends step in to help--and the led flies. Two of the most interesting characters in the film are played by veteran actor William Dafoe, and a newcomer to the silver screen, David Della Rocco. Dafoe's character is Paul Smecker, a gay FBI agent specializing in organized crime. Rocco plays an Italian Mafia package boy who is a close friend to the Irish brothers. The central theme of the film is the indifference of good men. Connor and Murphy are not indifferent, and after helping their friend, Doc, the two embark on a crusade to rid the streets of Boston of criminals. Rocco helps out as only a comical and zany friend can. This film has strong elements on all sides; humor, a moral message and incredible performances. You will no doubt find yourself repeating many great lines from the film. This is so much more than another shoot-em-up action film. It has become an underground "cult" sensation. Watch it as soon as you can...you will not be disappointed.

Daryl is amazing in this. So is SPF. Everyone turns in an amazing performance. It's no wonder this is such a cult hit

Seamless performance in a cult classic. Bigger than life but quite an enjoyable ride.

Years ago I was looking for great, yet unheard of movies. I came across this movie on the internet. It had Willem Dafoe in it and I always liked his acting so, after reading the reviews I decided to buy the movie on DVD without ever seeing it (DVDs were a bit costly at the time). I had to order it from Canada because it wasn't being sold in the states yet. I watched the movie and fell in love with it! I don't usually like violent movies but this one was different. I liked how the brothers were religious and had good heads on their shoulders. I loved how Dafoe explained how the "crimes" happened reenacting it in slow motion while classical music was playing. Dafoe made it (dare I say) poetic. Almost like a dance with bullets flying and blood dripping. I recommended it to several friends and they have all enjoyed the movie. I've always wanted it on Blu Ray but it was too costly for my budget. Then I found it at a bargain at Best Buy so I ordered it ASAP and have enjoyed watching it in Blu Ray. I only wish the Blu Ray included a digital copy! That was the only drawback. It was still worth the wait and the money to make sure this one is in my Blu Ray collection. It is action packed, violent, poetic and looks great on Blu Ray!
