I switched to a smart phone for the first time because i was finally going to join the 21st century and get rid of my landline and rely only on my cell. This phone was on sale so i chose it. It meets my needs and i'm glad to have it. I'm new to the Windows interface (being more familiar with ios via my ipad and ipod) but i'm learning my way around. My only issue is that i have to charge my phone every night. I wonder if this is typical of smart phones. My old little flip phone would hold a charge for a lot longer but in all fairness, i didn't use it as much as this phone.

The phone works really well. The main reason why I put it at 4 stars was because it doesnt have many of the big apps/games that androids or iphones have. Also no front camera. But other than that the phone works well.

I bought this phone because I didn't want to get into a contract and have to pay over $200 for a phone. I got the Nokia lumia on sale and it was worth the price for a prepaid phone.

I bought this as a replacement for a phone that died suddenly. It is a good cheap phone perfect for a student or as a temporary replacement for a smartphone. I will not use long term. Just using until I replace with a new smartphone.

Most other Windows phones I've purchased in this same price range (around $50), have generally performed poorly. They just seemed slow. However, not this one. Very happy with the performance. Everything else seemed okay too. One side note, in case you think you can use Google Voice on this phone... you can't!!!!!! So don't even bother trying. All the apps that previously gave this option have either been discontinued or really don't work at all. If you need to use Google voice or hangouts then get yourself an android phone. From what I've seen, all the other new phones with Windows OS will have the same problem too. Hope that helps!

Never had a windows phone, don't personally know anyone who does, either, so I didn't know what to expect.I bought it for my mom because she needed a new phone. It was hard to get it figured out as far as how to transfer contacts, bluetooth sync wouldn't pick up the old phone which also had bluetooth. It works fine, charges fine, holds a decent charge, and all that jazz. You never really know about a phone until you've had it 6 months or more. I'll put yes for recommend to a friend but only because there's not a maybe.

I have had some adjustment issues with this cell. I am not an expert with cellphone technology or Windows. However, I am enjoying the challenge! I would not recommend this particular cellphone for a beginner.

I was a little unsure about buying this phone after reading some of the reviews, but I am so glad I did. A flash on the camera would be nice, but I don't take a lot of pictures so it doesn't bother me. Love the Windows 8.1 interface and Microsoft Office preloaded. Do miss my banking app, but just go to the website using my browser. Best phone I could have bought at this price point. Simply love it!

We bought this Nokia phone with a Boost Mobile no-contract plan for an 11 yr old as a pretty painless way to get him "connected" . He loves it and Im impressed with it's performance and versatility. The adults in this group had no experience with the windows OS but he figured it out quickly. Nice phone for kids.

Huge flaw, no notification LED on front for texts waiting to be read. Other then that, great screen and sound.

With this phone I can sinc all my devices together. The only draw back is deleting numbers from the contacts.

I bought this phone to submerge myself in the new Windows Phone OS. I thoroughly enjoy this phone and although the stores has few apps and the fact that some apps have bugs, it is alright. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and the phone works seeminglessly with my PC. It's a great addition to my Windows arsenal!

The cellphone worked as expected. Good starter Windows 8 Cellphone

I wouldn't go with any other phone for this Price. With Windows Phone OS being really slick and quick when using the phone I have determined never to go back to Android and will never touch Apple.

Once I got used to the windows operating system it was great. I didn't like that there wasn't a flash player, and that there are certain apps that I like that don't operate on the windows operating system.
