Was in the market for an upgrade so finding this phone settled that.

I originally purchased the J7 2015 version. It got VERY hot and I returned it the next day. I now have the 2016 Perx version and love it! I switched from a Galaxy S3 that was on its last leg. Much larger screen, hugely improved functionality, and the battery lasts a lot longer. So far I am very happy with it. My only issue is that it doesn't charge fully when on, but it could be my USB cable. I have left it plugged in charging for 8 hours and it only goes up a few percent; if I turn it off, it charges in a few hours.

Bought this for son who had an LG phone that, although it was less than a year old, had degraded to where it would only last 3-4 hours before needing to be recharged and had developed other problems. He was fine using Boost, so I took a look at what was available and the Samsung J7 seemed to be the best choice under $200. The J7 is solidly built, has been lasting him between 1-2 days between charges, has a larger screen, more memory and is working really well for him. Only been using it for a month, but so far he is thrilled with it.

I had an S5 but gave this J7 Perx a try when the charging port broke on the S5. The J7 Perx is awesome! I debated getting the S8 (for substantially more $) but decided on this one because ultimately, I only use the phone for pictures, texting, calls, games, and various apps (FB, Snap, reward programs, etc.). I've had it a month now and absolutely love it

I previously purchased the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) from Best Buy. I upgraded to the J7 Perx (2017) during the Black Friday Sales Event. I like that this year's model was offered in black color versus the previous year's white color. It has a faster processor, more RAM, better front and rear cameras, and a superior speaker located on the right side of the phone versus on the usual bottom location causing sound dampening whenever the phone is laid down. This is a very responsive phone with quick Internet access and decent call quality. I would definitely recommend this phone as a very reasonably priced alternative to Samsung's higher priced models.

Love it! East to use it takes good photos and has alot of space.

Definitely a great phone! I bought this for my wife about a year ago and no issues at all. Overall speed is good. Battery life is pretty good too.

Great for the price. Pros: large screen, multi window & a few of other premium phone features. Con: The Boost J7 has only a 8 megapixel rear camera. Some models from other carriers & unlocked j7 models are actually 13 mp, which would be a great improvement on this device.

The phone work really good for the price. Camera take great picture. Battery last long time on 10% and you hit the battery save life and it will tell u how long u have to your phone dies. I love this phone it work just as good as the high dollar ones.

This phone has a great battery life and screen size.

Great price on sale and good quality phone for price. Bigger screen makes it easy to navigate and processor speed is fair for price range of this phone. It also has 16gigs rather then the usual 8 for other phones in this price range. The screen is sharp and bright.

I recommend this smart phone for anyone looking for a phone that has lots of memory, easy to maneuver and plenty of apps.

I got this phone because it has a larger screen, Nougat operating system and a gorgeous display. My only beef with the phone is that the J-series are stripped of some of the new features you'll find in the S-series phones - like fingerprint log-in (for example). The camera is decent (for a phone) and the sound works pretty well when streaming shows. Overall, I'd buy the phone again - just be aware if you are considering the J3 that you aren't getting everything you would in an S-series phone.

My 14 year old daughter loves this phone. There is a lot of storage space and it has a nice size screen.

I absolutely love my phone I'm so happy I made the right decision in purchasing! Lots of storage space, clear pictures, big enough screen to watch movies, etc. I've had it for 6 months now and no problems.

Very Cheap price for a nice phone and works exelent

It's good enough for what I do with my phone. Games, social media and emails.sometimes it freezes on me, it's a quick fix though.

I've had iPhones in the past, but spent the last 5 years with a Samsung $15 flip phone. I decided to re-enter the civilized world and get a smartphone again. Overall, this phone is perfect with one exception. There is a bug that prevents me receiving texts from iPhone users unless they turn off their imessage. I'm sure there's a fix for it, but I haven't looked very hard. I would expect you wouldn't have to do the extra homework to get your phone to function out of the box.

The phone is big and very comfortable to hold in the hand. the screen is nice to watch videos and many more things

The AMOLED screen is very nice and the camera is quit good for a lower cost phone.
