I got scammed.

I was told the SIM card would cost $5, and the activation cost $15. But their activation refused the credit card I had just used to buy the card (and used later for other purchases.) So the BestBuy representative recommended I go to the Boost Mobile store, and pay in cash.
That guy took my phone, insisted on inserting the card himself, while I was objecting that I did not want or need an installation, and charged me an extra $45 for it. But I urgently needed the phone. It felt like a bait-and-switch.
I spent hours trying to contact Boost customer service about it. They have a chatbot that responded with only nonsense. Two different customer care numbers sent me passcodes, to which they responded "sorry, I didn't get that".
The card has functioned adequately, for the two weeks I needed it.
But it is clear that they have no interest in customer support, or in overseeing their local vendors.

On the Tmobile network!?

Dont waste your time or money. Just go directly to boost. I purchased this sim card only to find out i could not use it because it is registered on the tmobile network!! Then go to the store for them to tell me i cannot return yet online I am given the option to return it. Noone at the store or customer service cared that it was defective. I was repeatedly told I cannot return it. Complete waste. Never again BestBuy, NEVER!!

Pathetic cell phone plan. Extremely scammy and greedy. They will pretend they're offering good service but will just keep taking your money. Customer care is also extremely under qualified. Will keep quoting 3 lines they learnt in training and will never actually help. Do not buy if you value your dollar!
