Customers are saying

Customers love the pen functionality of the 10.3" Tab Ultra C Pro E-Paper Tablet, praising its feel and the inclusion of the Pro Pen 2. However, some users find the color quality lacking, noting muted colors and less vibrancy than on other devices. The screen brightness is also a point of concern for some customers. Overall, the tablet's strengths lie in its writing experience, while its color display is a potential drawback.

A wonderful and capable device! Acts as a full tablet, meaning I'm using it more than I would use just an e-reader. I'm in love. It's great to use it in light as bright or dim as I wish, and the pen feels great to use. Most apps I install from google play store work. Cons: Some of the default notetaking software is currently buggy, and the default virtual keyboard is strangely arranged. The colors aren't as rich as what you get on a modern phone or computer screen. That doesn't bother me, but it is noticeable. When I want something visually stunning I switch to another device.

I've sorely wanted a new e-reader with color, since I had the Onyx Tab Air C last year. That device was too small for me, and then the Tab Ultra C came out earlier this year but didn't purchase it yet. I ended up getting this after the Note Air C dropped, but wanted the more "Pro" feature as I wanted a more productivity device. The TUC Pro knocks it out of the park. It is very snappy and fast, surprised at how fast it turns on after pressing the power button. The 300 ppi BW/150 ppi Color look very good compared to the more popular e-reader brand out there. The 10.2 inch screen is perfect for doing my work activities, web surfing, and of course reading both books and comics. It feels very sturdy and durable, not too thin, almost like holding a regular tablet from either Samsung or Apple. The added pen is great as it is the Pro Pen 2 version with the eraser at the end. Most importantly, this is easier on my eyes as I am behind a screen most of my day. I only wished this came bundled with the keyboard or folio cover. BestBuy does not sell those individually. I am very happy with this device, especially now that it is sold out.

    Dissapointing color, refresh rate

I had high hopes for this but returned it because the ability to display color images is lacking. this does a better job than the boox 7" color go at displaying color images, but the images are still not sharply defined enough to be pleasant to look at, even on HD. i tried reading a pdf of a comic book and while the images looked ok (not great), the text was almost unreadable. i dont mind the subdued color pallete but can't stand how poorly defined the images and text are. It does fine at displaying black and white text, but for $650 i expect color to be at least decent, and it is not. Also, whether black and white or color, it has a poor refresh rate compared to a $150 kindle and scrolling etc is very poor. you can improve the scrolling/refresh by reducing the quality of the text/images, but then you get downright ugly text.

I’ve been using the BOOX Tab Ultra C Pro primarily for work, and it’s been a game-changer for note-taking in client meetings and document editing. The feature that stands out most for me is its ability to share documents with Windows 11. While the process isn’t very intuitive at first, a little effort to set it up goes a long way. Once configured, the sharing works seamlessly and has significantly boosted my productivity. The 10.3" e-paper display is excellent for reading and writing, offering a comfortable, paper-like experience that’s easy on the eyes during long work sessions. The tablet feels premium and responsive, and the added functionality of color e-paper is a bonus for reviewing highlighted or color-coded documents. The BOOX Tab Ultra C Pro might not be for everyone due to its learning curve and higher price point, but if you’re looking for a versatile e-paper tablet that integrates well with your workflow, especially in a professional setting, this is a fantastic choice. Pros: Great document sharing with Windows 11 (after setup), excellent for note-taking and document editing, comfortable display. Cons: Not intuitive to set up initially, higher price point.

I really enjoyed this tablet. The color isn't too bad, it's neat to have Android on an e-ink display, and the performance was good. My one critique was that the battery life wasn't the best.

It does a good job for what I wanted. The only issue is that the screen is not clear and as bright as I would like. The colors are muted and not what you would want for viewing anything but documents.

Overall very way overpriced tablet for the quality, just a fancier kidle that can do few more things, canera quality is beyond bad , plenty of bad pixels depends on the luck with the piece, colors quality has nothing to do with the web pictures very misleading and definitely work less than half of the selling price

Not worth the $700.00 I paid for it I bought it mostly for reading and it’s not bad for it but the rest of the features I paid for are horrible, videos are terrible, colors are off and scrolling is so slow. I believed the critics reviews and I was disappointed. Paid the price of a premium device and didn’t deliver, had to take it back
