If you like the franchise, you will like this one as well. The new characters and skills a great. Countless guns as always and legendary weapons to collect. It's not without its flaws but overall all a great game. They have started rolling out events over the next few weeks. I look forward to more events and the future of the game.

If you liked BL & BL2 you will like this game too. Takes the great elements of the previous games and does them better. I pre-ordered from a different retailer and was disappointed to find out it wouldn't be delivered until a week later. Ordered and picked up from Best Buy on release date. Never pre-ordering elsewhere again.

I don't find the game to be as funny or as fun as Borderlands 2 but if you're into the franchise you'll still have a lot of fun with it. I think some of the additions like vaulting over objects, pinging, and sliding to be a little wonky and don't really need to be in the game (obviously taken from Apex Legends) and so far through the jouney (~10 hours) I have not really cared for most locations. I think this is still a good game and it's a LOT better than the Pre-Sequel was

Saying Borderlands 3 is better than 2 is saying a TON!!! 2 is awesome BUT.... Anyway, FANTASTIC that Best Buy had copies of the Ultimate Edition on the shelf!!! You usually have to pre-order those editions but, my luck...Best Buy had 3 on the shelf all ready.... Thanks guys!!! Yes....Best Buy is indeed the shiznit!!!

(On the day of this review) FIRST - this game shipped with NO CUTSCENE SKIPS, so being this is a BL’s game where multiple play throughs is “a thing” - BUYER BEWARE! There is zero chance I will make alternate characters or start additional play throughs until skipping every cutscene has been updated into the game. The story is very lackluster and the time spent watching these very boring cutscenes only makes it worse. I wish rentals were still available.... This game should be an easy pass, especially with a “digital copy” (of ANY game for that matter). And most of the vulgarity has been included, instead of implied or censored/bleeped out, like the previous installments. On console, your game WILL CRASH due to the frame rate drops. You should only hope it doesn’t happen on the final encounter, after playing against them solo for 25 MINUTES, like it did for me (true story).I would just play on a friends account or borrow the disc. BUT, if you like defeating hordes of enemies with crazy abilities and weapons, this MIGHT be the game for you. (But still probably will not be...)

Another fun installment in the franchise. Seemingly endless number of items and great new additions to gameplay. Tons of replay value and play style options. Franchise has a great history with additional DLC and I expect it to continue here, that’s why Super Deluxe was my pick. Nice looking steelbook, too.

Gearbox/2k has doubled down on what made borderlands 2 so popular and I'm extremely pleased. I've only put about 10 hours in so far but I've enjoyed every bit of it. I can definitely see myself logging 100+ hours on this game (I logged about 300 on borderlands 2) especially as they release expansions.

I love the borderlands games. This series had amazing gun detail and customization abilities. The villains were lackluster, but no one can really compare to Handsome Jack. My big complaint is with co-op. My boyfriend and I got this to play together and playing in split screen is a mess. The lag is atrocious and the text is super tiny. I hope gearbox has listened to mine and many others concerns and will be patching these things in the future.

Great story and game play (when its working). Still needs some game patches to fix game play mechanics.

This game is super fun, and has so much content you'll be entertained for hours. My only issue is there are some bugs, mainly the menu. In split screen, there is often menu lag, also there was occasional audio glitches where the NPC's audio cut out mid sentence and I would have to restart the game to make it work again. Overall I would say it's a good purchase, but maybe hold off until it is patched if those issues would annoy you too much.

The next game to date for the infamous Borderlands series. The hame is packed full of new weaponry, visuals, gameplay mechanics, etc. The story is just as good and entertaining just like the rest of the games. Definitely worth picking up if you’re an old or brand new fan of the series.

I have been waiting a long time for this game to be released, and I can say that I am not disappointed. Many of the reviews knock it for being too much like Borderlands 2, but I liked that game so that is not a problem for me. The run/gun/loot formula is back in all it's glory.

If you liked the series so far, get this for sure. There are new elements/discoverables that make it fun and fresh (i.e. email system, and more - no spoilers!). The weapon variety is amazing and another source of new fun to discover. The classic Borderlands humor is in full abundance.

If you're a fan of Borderlands, this is a great title. More of the same ridiculousness and banter. There are some additional customizations. I really like the vehicle upgrades and variety, but some other ones, like weapon trinkets, are a missed opportunity. Be careful when playing couch co-op because the text is REALLY tiny, and the lag is crazy sometimes when accessing the menu. Other than that, it's a blast!

Borderlands 3 takes everything that you've loved from the previous installment and cranks everything up to 11 the game-play and variety of guns and play-styles is absolutely incredible. That combined with that great Borderlands humor this is definitely one to pick up.

I am about halfway into playing this game, but I am enjoying the story so far! There are some visual cues and features that did not carryover from past games, but I do like some of the new vehicle upgrades and weapons. I am taking a leap of faith in terms of ordering this version of the game, as I enjoyed past DLC. Everything arrived in good condition and no issues with packaging!

Borderlands 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. The third adds some new features and overall it improves the tried and true borderlands experience. The villains aren't as memorable as Handsome Jack but the gameplay and loot are great.

I have been having a lot of fun with this game. if you have played the series, there are a lot of old characters who will make appearances. Overall, I like the move to explore new planets as part of the game, but I will same that the maps for each planet are limited so it could have just as easily been done on one map. If you enjoy the series, you can't go wrong with this one!

I have been playing this game since launch and I can't leave it!! It has taken over my life and I love every moment of the game!! I play with my buddies and it makes the game so much better!! If you haven't bought this game yet, go out and buy it now!!

Great game but needs better optimization. Lags and glitches constantly.
