I love the gameplay smooth and easy to use. Reminds a lot of call of duty just in a cartoonish way. The game cartridge comes with the original borderlands and the 2 other games are downloaded to the switch digital. The only downside is how many GB it takes up for both games. Its about 38GB I’m going based on making room for the downloads.

I bought rhis game like four times now. I do love my borderlands games. And this being portable is just that much better. I do hate, hate, hate, the fact that is used 42 gigs of your space.

I missed out on these games when they were originally released, primarily because I just didn’t have the time to sit down and play all the time. As an adult with limited time, the portability of these fantastic games allows me to squeeze them in when I find a moment throughout the day. It’s unbelievable to me that FPSs of such high quality are available on a portable device. The games themselves are fantastic, frantic, fun and engaging. They control well and look great, though not as good as the Xbox and PS versions. The Pre-sequel is the weakest of the 3, but still a good game. There are a lot worse out there. Borderlands 2 is the peak of this collection for sure. If you have these on other home consoles or PC, those are better versions overall, but the portability and accessibility of these games on the go is a huge win for me and my lifestyle. The only real negative I can point to is that there is a MASSIVE download required in order to play. You’ll need an SD card if you buy this collection physically like I did. My card had plenty of space, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but it’s worth noting if you don’t have enough internal memory.

Great bundle of great games. Surprised by how well this runs on switch. Bought multiple copies to give one as a gift. I've played these games multiple times since their release, glad to be able to play them on the go again (with decent controls compared to the vita). Picked this up on sale and it was well worth the price (wish there was cross-save available).

I really like the Borderlands series and was happy when it came to the Switch. One important thing is that only the first Borderlands game is on the cartridge. The second and Pre-Sequel are on a download card for the Nintendo E-Shop. They are big, so make sure you have enough space. Also, I was happy that the controls are updated. After playing Borderlands 3 on XBox One, I was concerned with the learning curve of moving to the Switch and thankfully the controls are miraculously similar. Despite the A & B and X & Y buttons switched places from XBox to Switch, the controls are almost identical. Switching weapons is Y on the XBox and is X on the Switch. That makes it super easy to swtich between consoles, pun intended.

I'm a huge fan of the Borderlands Games and always have been since they first came out. There is no other game like it in my opinion. Awesome characters, looting and shooting! I also love all the bad guys and different creatures. I normally play on Xbox but I love the idea of getting this for the Switch so I could play on the go. I will say its not the easiest to play on the switch handheld. I think the main issue for me is the buttons are obviously different than what I'm used too. But if you want to bring Borderlands on the go is pretty amazing. I will say I still prefer to play on my Xbox One tho. All and all its pretty awesome to play Borderlands wherever but it definitely takes some getting used too.

So I bought this game for my Switch... THIS GAME IS FREAKIN' COOL !!!!! I was very lucky to buy this game when it went on Sale. I recommend it if your into First Person Shooter with a Storyline. It's full of all the additional DLC's and tons of hours. It's well worth your money. I can't wait to finish all the games so i can finally play the Borderlands 3.

Three great games that run and play great on Switch. My only complaint is the gargantuan download size to get all 3 games on your Switch. Only the first game comes on the cart, and they seemingly used zero compression to get the game size down because...wow. You will want an SD card with a lot of free space if you want to play 2 or Pre-sequel.

Bought it for the portability and being to open my switch and play whenever makes playing the game so easy. I’ve noticed some “lag” in the game when you use a heavy destructive weapon like a shotgun that fires 12 rounds with one click and had “explosive” effects. But other than that the graphics is very smooth. Super fun game, I’m glad I purchased it

Found this game on sale for $29.99! Awesome price since it’s usually $50. The game comes with one game on the cartridge and then you download 2 other games via DLC. The games look really good and for $30 you can’t beat it, $10 a game.

Game is awesome, I highly recommend it. I Already own this game in other system but there is nothing like taking this game on the go. The graphics are really amazing and really tells you what the Nintendo Switch is capable of.

I loved Borderlands for the PS3, and this is just as good. The DLC is a nice extra, and the two other games (which I am yet to play) make this a real bargain. I am really happy with this purchase.

These games came out years ago, but they are still worth a play through. Its not the most complicated FPS, but it still presents it's challenges and keeps the attention. Loved playing this on XBOX, and it was worth adding to the Switch collection.

I have bought this game on pretty much every system. PC, Xbox One, and now I can play it anytime on my Nintendo Switch. One thing to be aware of though is you will need 42gbs of free space so while you are at Best Buy purchasing this fantastic game, you may want to go ahead and pick up a SanDisk Micro SD card to accompany it. I got home with the game not doing my homework first and found out I needed a Micro SD card. So I just ordered the 128gb official Nintendo SanDisk card and as soon as I get off from work, I will be headed to pick that up so I will be able to play Borderlands on my Switch.

The games run almost flawlessly. Much better than the old Vita port of Borderlands 2. Only downside is that only the first one is on cartridge

Being able to take Boarderlands on the go is great! Mission based style of game suits the picking up and playing for short periods.

Only borderlands 1 is on the cartridge, the other 2 games are digital downloads. Games look and run great on the switch.

I’ve owned all the borderlands games on PlayStation and will buy every one they ever come out with. Got this on sale for the switch and being able to play on the go is incredible. The screen is a bit small for a shooter but when I can’t be hooked up to a t.v. Or I’m camping, this game is a gem. If you have multiple systems and playing only on a t.v., I would stick to a regular console but if you want to be able to take it on the go, you should get the switch version or both.

It's a Borderlands 3-title collection, there is not much more to say. It runs well on the switch with nothing seeming to lag or crash thus far; loading times and start up is timely. Enjoyable for sure if these are your style of games. One thing to note if unnoticed, the cartridge included is for Borderlands 1. The other two games are in the form of codes for the Nintendo shop, you will need to download them and have the required space of around 35GB.
