The basic gameplay is the same. Shoot stuff, get loot, shoot more stuff, level up, shoot stuff, get better loot. The writing isn't as good as BL2 but there were still a few laugh out loud parts.

Although the environments are not as diverse as Borderlands 2, it still a great game if you are a fan of the looting and shooting model that makes the series great.

As a fan of the previous Borderlands this seems to be a good game. I'm about 2 hours in and have enjoyed playing the game thus far. Once the holidays are over, I plan on finishing the game.

I'm a huge fan of the series so I was pumped about the new game. Would have been a perfect except a couple of things that bugged me about it. Not enough to stop from playing it of course!

And the Borderlands franchise continues to grow. While obviously from a different studio, it is truly keeping the humor and style of its two predecessors.

My son could not wait for this game to be released! He has not stopped playing it since he got it. He said it was worth the wait and the game is awesome!

This game is just as good, if not better than the first two! New characters and clap trap as a playable character! Definitely one for a Borderlands fan!

If you played Borderlands and Borderlands 2 ... The Pre-Sequel is a must. If you haven't... you've been disconnected too long and time to get onboard.

This game is a good bridge between borderlands one and two. The game play is also just different enough to feel fresh while still being too different.

Actually bought this game for my son. He and his friends love playing this game on line. He says the game and graphics are great. A true must have.

Love the borderlands series. And this one is non different. They have taken everything you loved in the previous games and added even more to love.

Borderlands the pre-sequel! Is a great game and anyone who loves the first two games of the series will love this game. You can play as claptrap!

I got this two days ago and I've only stopped playing to sleep. This game is action packed and has everything I would expect from a pre-sequel.

My husband loves Borderlands and all he wanted for his birthday was this game. He loves the game and is playing as I am typing this review.

This game is a really awesome game and I've been a fan since the first game that had came out and I would recommend this game to friends.

Game play is much better than Borderlands 2. The online play is very seamless. The outer world parts add monitoring challenges that make group play interesting.

Great game just as with the previous 2... couple new additions. Co-op is a blast as well but that's nothing new either. If it ain't broke, don't fix it right?

Borderlands the pre-quel is amazing. Very similar to the much loved borderlands 2 gameplay, so if you're a fan you'll love this one!

This game is on par with the previous releases. Which in itself makes it a pretty good game. However, it doesn't seem to bring anything new to the table.
