A follow up to the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series, it follows Boruto son of Naruto and Hinata as well as many of the children of the characters from the first two series. There are a lot of parallels to the stories, but Boruto is quite different from his dad since he actually has parents to guide him. The war is over and the village is at peace as well as modernizing. Boruto also has issues with his father who is now the current Hokage (leader of the village) and how busy he is as well as having to live in his father's shadow in a different way than Naruto had to do with parents that had passed in a legendary way. This edition brings you thru the first 13 episodes of an ongoing story that is into the hundred+ range, so there is more coming in the future if you enjoy Boruto as much as I did.

These are excellently done. Haven't finished the discs yet, but the Boruto show has been assembled with great care, characters, and humor. Recommend you watch Naruto and then Naruto Shippuden first. It is a very lengthy, but an overall wonderful story. The Boruto characters are the next generation of the Naruto series ninja. It is a joy seeing this next generation! :) This Blue-Ray format removes all of the tiny lines/dots apparent on the DVD. The actual lines that are supposed to be there are solid, vivid, and crystal clear. :)

It is interesting to see what the characters of Naruto when they are grown up and take a back seat when these next generation of shinobi take center stage especially if it’s Boruto.

Per my son, this is a great show. As soon as he got it he watched it. He enjoyed it and is happy with this purchase. I don't feel like it was a waste of money.

The series spans generations from the 2000’s to 2010’s. Only drawback is the soundtrack is not as hip as the prior Naruto series.

Great season so far. Love seeing all the kids that we watched when we were younger grow up and have kids. It’s awesome to watch.

I can honestly say I like this series way better than naruto I think the writing is better

Pretty interesting to see Naruto's kid being somewhat of different character. Still kind of rebellious though.

Visually this looks amazing but I'm not really liking the voice acting of the kids in boruto

Not as good as Shippuden, but a decent follow up. The scaling gets a bit ridiculous but still fun.

Get to watch naruto run his village and see a new generation of ninjas.

Great anime, however recommending to watch Naruto first.

My fiancé is a great anime fan. I’m sure we will buying more of these.
