So far this dishwasher has lived up to every expectation. It washes and dries extremely well. I even put dried and baked on very dirty pots and plates and each time dishes come out squeaky clean and dry. It also holds a lot of dishes, including pots and pans; very impressive! The buttons I love on the outside and how simple they are to understand. I replaced a 2 year old LG which stopped drying and washing clean. So far lived up to the every expectation and I am extremely happy I waited for it. Also, I must add that Best Buy installation was quick and easy and the technicians were all great! I was kept updated with delivery and installation. Our Best Buy sales rep was also really great. Excellent service all round!

Does not dry at well at all

The bad: the drying on this machine is ABYSMAL. I'm on my 2nd one after getting the first one replaced and even with "Extra Dry" + "Sanitized" dishes will come out wet. Not just plastic dishware but even glass containers or ceramic plates. Also, the utensil holders are extremely frustrating, they constantly come out of place when pulling out utensils. The racks also seem poorly designed as its often hard to get things to fit just right. I'm very disappointed with this brand as I thought it was top-of-the-line. My previous GE dishwasher was loud but it would dry pretty well. Also disappointed with Best Buy Total Tech as I'm now being forced to bring the appliance back to the store to replace it with another brand. What's the point of the membership then?

This feedback is helpful to us and will be shared with the appropriate groups for further consideration. Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying process. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. It works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cool stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. For optimum drying results, we recommend using rinse aid and the Extra Dry option. You can find troubleshooting tips on page 41 of the Use & Care manual, available on Bosch's website. Instructions for turning on the Intensive Drying feature are on page 33. BUT the best part is the upper tray where you just lay down your silverware - that allowed me to completely remove one of the utensil trays, and have more room on the bottom for large bowls, etc.

Quiet: 1 on 1-100 scale: rarely hear it. Low barely hum. Quick start manual included: Need the 48 page internet manual. Printed 8 pages of manual to learn how to raise and lower 1st bin tabs to accommodate large slow cooker insert, etc. Both sons have 300 series for many years: 5 Stars. Yes, $999 is not inexpensive but quality costs.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even quieter than our last Bosch which I replaced after 7.5 years but kept for use in an upstairs apartment if I can fix a water supply issue. Called a repair place, they said it would likely be $500 to fix so I got a new machine. My only complaint is that Bosch completely changed the back end shape, and the water and power connections. I spent most of a day doing carpentry on the inside back of the cabinet so it would fit, making new holes to route the hoses, and wiring an outlet for the three-prong plug instead of the direct electrical and water connections on the front underside of the old dishwasher.

Posted .Thank you for your review. Since January 2020 all Bosch dishwashers include a 110v power cord for plug-in. For hardwire installations an accessory junction box, SMZPCJB1UC, is available for purchase. Standard install kit includes new water supply line with 90 degree connection elbow.

Not just another Dishwasher

The sound during its wash phase is very quiet. Our home is open concept and conversations can be maintained without raising our voices. Delivery and installation were literally the next day. The product works great. I even purchased the 5-year warranty which was terrific. The installer/driver was the best I've ever seen. In comparing this experience with Home Depot? I'll never buy another appliance from them again. I'm so glad I decided to go to Best Buy!!!

Looks great, works quiet, cleans great. We use it pretty much everyday or every other day. Free delivery was nice and efficient. This was a replacement so we installed ourselves. The hardwire connector (see picture) was provided by Best Buy for free - really appreciated.

Plus, our total tech membership meant that installation and haul away was free! Overall, very pleased with this purchase
