I didn't read enough before hand, missed the fact that you have to add Dish Washer salt to this 300 Model. No one seemed to be able to give me an idea as to how often salt would need to be added. Plus the store got the Bosch Model 500 back in stock

Poor rinsing performance

Rinsing is not so great with this unit. I had to switch to unscented detergent because Cascade and other "lemon fresh" scented detergents overpower the dishwasher when completing any cycle. My previous LG and Kitchenaids never had this issue. There's no option for a "second rinse" either. I wouldn't buy this unit again, I'd sacrifice a little better reliability with poor rinsing performance (and possibly having detergent on your dishware).

Hi DishwasherGuru, thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your dishwasher. The following tips may help you achieve better cleaning results.
1. Make sure the dishwasher filter (located at the bottom) is cleaned regularly. To learn how to remove it, refer to your owner's manual. To remove debris, wash it with soap and a soft brush under running water.
2. Make sure there is enough space between items when loading. Ensure that the spray arms can move freely after loading the dishwasher.
3. Add rinse aid. Review your owner's manual to learn how and where to add rinse aid. Rinse aid helps water droplets slide off dishware so water marks can't be seen.
4. Clean your dishwasher's spray arms. Make sure there are no blockages in the holes by running it under water. To remove debris from the holes, use a toothpick.
5. Run a dishwasher cleaner through the dishwasher (Finish dishwasher cleaner, or Glisten Dishwasher Magic can be used).
6. Make sure you are using the appropriate amount of detergent per the instructions.

Super quiet Cleans great in all cycles including the 60 minute cycle This model comes with a salt based water softener so glasses and dishes will not etch becuase of our super hard water Real easy to use and program Racks easy to move when you have oversized dishes

Best Buy installed the new dishwasher for us and kinked the drain hose when installing it causing the unit kit to drain and flooding the kitchen floor. They won’t do anything for us or answer my calls.

the Whirlpool that cost half works way better! this one doesn't dry all the way, smells to dirty even after washing, is not worth it. let's be honest, who wants a dishwasher telling you on the phone in the middle of the night that finished washing dishes??????

All hardware was missing
